When I try to go to page 2 of this very thread, I get sent to the top of the first page.

I'm betting there's something strange, suspicious and sinster on the second page, and the board is trying to protect my innocent eyes until I'm old enough for that kind of thing. :soma:

And I can't wait to see where it decides to post this!

 It posted it on page 2, but sent me to the top of page 1 so I couldn't see my own post!

I love NuForge! Always some new and interesting way of annoying the users. It's even better than Electrical Superstorms!

BTW, this is my second try at posting this particular message. The first time, I got a database error, then when I used the "back" button, my post was no longer there and I had to re-write it. Fortunately it wasn't an Asyncritus Special!

Geordi could fix it with a tricorder in an instant. Even Wesley Crusher could do it!

Of course, R2D2 wouldn't even need a tricorder. No matter how alien the technology, it would have a plug-in down near the bottom somewhere that he could poke his whatever into and spin it around, thus causing everything to work right!

    Famous last words, apparently. :garamet:

I'm still getting a lot of error messages from the server. Processes failing and like that. And still no contact from O2C, tho I assume he must have repaired the database error.

Damn you EC!:P I was JUST ABOUT to make that very suggestion to Lanzman about possibly using, or at least considering using XenForo. http://forums.spacebattles.com/ , which is essentially, in a nutshell, TrekBBS Lite or Diet TrekBBS, uses just that board software.

I just had another error. I offer to pay for the update. Heck, I'll do it anonymously through bitcoin originating with a midget if that is what it takes. :)

I'm getting an error about every other time I open a thread. Its only a second and refreshing takes care of it, but its damn annoying.

What's the freaking holdup on the upgrade? How many times does the board need to crash before the admin gets off its ass and actually does something for a change?!?!? If its money, tell us how much I'm sure we can cover it.

Just got two more database errors.

Kind of makes me feel like someone calmly cruising along the highway at 70 MPH who suddenly sees a sign saying "Freeway ends: ΒΌ mile."

How long are we going to be out this time?

Couple of database errors and a blank page about half an hour ago.
