It was merely an hour or so after the big reveal when I started seeing these jokes in my feed.

And remember, these are being produced by the so-called "experts" who make a living doing this shit.

I wonder whether that's true in these two cases, frankly. If it is, that's either nepotism or someone taking the piss.

If I were her, I would go with Tim Kaine or Elizabeth Warren.

A minority on the ticket is not necessary since Trump has already done a good job of alienating those folks and motivating them to vote against him, regardless of the Democratic pick.

Vilsack. The comedic potential of referring to him as "Vice President Ballsack" outweigh any negatives he might have.

With Warren you get the feather Indian vote.

are you familiar with the laundry list of ways Mike Pence called bullshit on Donald Trump over the last year? He reversed all that shit within 24 hours once he got offered the VP. Looks like a completely craven power grab, more likely it was because he actually think he is saving the GOP from Trump nominating someone as batshit crazy as he is and blowing what little chance they have of winning - in other words, his motives would be pretty much the same as Bernie's

I really don't think Johnson is much of a Randian at all, and I'm certain that if her were miraculously elected no such ideas would make it so far as a vote in committee...and that he's smart enough to know that. I honestly don't think Johnson is a libertarian in the classic sense at all. He's a mash-up of Republican (professed, not practices) small-government ideas, Democrat social ideas, and libertraianish non-interventionist foreign policy. The LP just happens to be the best vehicle for advancing in the current system.

Warren or Al Franken

He's good enough, he's smart enough and dog gonnit, people like him.

I have to dial that back, the Benghazzi woman makes him look okay.

Good lord, these people are barking loons.

There's one video whose title makes it sound like it shows election workers whiting out Sanders votes, but all the video shows is people arguing about where they're allowed to record. Another is an interview with an election worker, with very obvious edits, that fails completely to show any tampering.

The Bernie Bros have gone off the deep end.
