@Packard No, I did not skip and instead simply merged multiple related points especially since so when of them mentally deficient, false, or just dumb. I saved us all some time by merging your whining about not liking the source with your claim there was no cited source.

Hint: see the highlighted section at the bottom where it specifocally says the source for all facts and figures is the Danish Immigration service. Again, ypu need to learn to read completely before running your mouth because you have repeatedly failed to do this.

The word you're looking for is 'skipping', not 'merging'.

Yeah, I've covered that three times now. You have now failed to read your own source at least twice, and our responses just on this one of many issues at least four separate times.

Apparently thousands of teachers have been fired in the coup purge. That, along with two dozen TV and radio stations losing their broadcast licenses, is a surefire road to total dictatorship.

Boy what a fun year 2016 has been. :(

How can you keep questioning Erdogan's actions? He's Obama closest ally and the one Obama relied on for advice on how to handle that nasty secularist, Bashar Assad. We were about to pound Damascus with cruise missiles, and have relied on Erdogan for Syria policy ever since.

No wonder ISIS is still entrenched in Syria and popping up the world over.

This situation will end with Erdogan continuing his journey to becoming a full blown dictator. The Kurds will continue being massacred by the Turkish terror state, Turkish troops will continue shelling Syrian territory belonging to the Kurds, and civil liberties will continue to be curtailed one by one. This purge will be ugly. I'm surprised that the Ottomans are members of NATO still.

He only fired about 15,000 educators, including the deans of every university. People who've read something other than the Koran can't be trusted because all of them other books are filled with lies.

They are the ones who is correctly handling the situation, I agree, and because of the common sensethey have shown the brain dead liberal elites from other countries have attempted to demonize them. Fortunately, time and experience has proved the Danish government to be correct.

It is a shame countries like Germany and Sweden are run by enablers who deliberately lie to their people but in time maybe that will change.

    Washington Post article

The U.S. tried to kill Erdogan, says editor in chief of Turkish daily

A column in a major Turkish daily claims the United States planned last week's failed coup and tried to kill Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Ibrahim Karagul, editor in chief of Yeni Safak, a right-wing newspaper, pinned the putsch on Washington, which has given sanctuary to the controversial figure whose movement Turkish authorities claim was behind the attempted violent takeover of the state. The ongoing purge of thousands of members of the country's military, judiciary and civil bureaucracy is ostensibly aimed at rooting out those linked toFethullah Gulen, the aging Turkish cleric who lives in a compound in Pennsylvania.

"The U.S. administration planned a coup in Turkey through the Gülen terror organization and tried to cause a civil war, make our people kill each other," wrote Karagul. "The U.S. is the one who planned and applied this coup attempt. Those generals, those traitors got all the instructions from Gülen and he conveyed the orders of those who planned the intervention."

He continued: "The U.S. administration which protects a terrorist organization should be declared as a country that supports terrorism. This country, which is still carrying out operations on Turkey through Gülen, directed its final attack especially on our country and rained bullets on our civilian people through Gülen's terrorists."

Obviously Obama should be impeached, removed from office, put on trial for war crimes, and then extradited to Turkey to be executed in whatever new way Erdogan's puppets in the Turkish parliament decide would provide the most entertainment value.

A Monday statement from John Bass, the U.S. ambassador in Turkey, expressed unequivocal support for Turkey's democratically elected government and said speculation that Washington somehow backed the coup "is harmful to the decades-long friendship between two great nations."

The State Department's deputy spokesman, Mark Toner, rejected the charges by the Yeni Safak journalist.

"We flatly deny these allegations," Toner told WorldViews in an emailed statement. "As Secretary [of State John F.] Kerry made clear to his Turkish counterpart, in the aftermath of this failed coup attempt, the United States absolutely supports the democratically elected civilian government and its democratic institutions. Any insinuation otherwise is absolutely false."

Great. Obama and Kerry are still Erdogan's willing bitches. :garamet:

Next Kerry will start shouting "Thank you sir may I have another?!"

He needs fake plots by foreign enemies (we are always at war with East Asia!), so Erdogan doesn't go after Assad or ISIS, he goes after Obama. But I'm sure Armenians and Jews are at the heart of the coup attempt. You can tell by their beady little eyes! Oh, and also blacks, Kurds, Shias, and anybody who reads books that aren't about Islam.

The United States did what it often does in these situations. It waited until it saw what way the wind was blowing and backed the party that was coming out on top, in this case Erdogan. That doesn't mean much, and it's quite possible that they would prefer to have seen the back of him.

Number one imperative for the US regarding Turkey is stability. That means not taking sides before the dust settles.

Three month state of emergency declared, giving Erdogan extra powers. Also, temporary suspension of Turkey's obligations under the European Convention on Human Rights.

They hold the EU hostage because of the refugee crisis and are of strategic importance to NATO. So nothing will happen. It seems like Erdogan has a free ride. Goodbye secular Turkey, welcome islamofascism. :(

Meh, better for Turkey to be relatively stable under a dictator like Erdogan than the chaos that engulfs its "democratic" neighbours Iraq. If Turkey falls into civil war it would be a disaster of epic proportions. And it'll be right on Europe's doorstep and is the last fucking thing we need. Erdogan is a loose cannon but at least he's someone we can deal with.

If the "Arab Spring" and Western military intervention has taught us anything is that the countries that toppled their despotic leaders (Syria, Iraq, Libya) have shot themselves in the foot and most are entirely fucked. Assad, Saddam, and Gaddaffi were better for their people than the current mayhem these countries are facing. If Erdogan can keep that from happening to Turkey he'd have done a good job.

But that wasn't happening in Turkey. It was all staged so that Turkey could go from a secular democracy to an Islamic shit hole, as do all Muslim countries given time (like 50 years). Islam is just as much a cancer as feminism is.

Pro Erdogan rally in Cologne Germany draws 50,000

That's more Turks in Cologne than there were Germans when the US Third Division showed up in 1945. :wtf:

The other day Turks surrounded Incirlik airbase, saying Americans were behind the coup. We need to pull the nukes out now. The last thing Europe needs right now is a nuclear armed Erdogan.

Hey, they're protesting for Democracy!!! Erdogan is the duly elected President (a job with almost no legal powers, just like Joachim Gauck, the President of Germany).

In the background of the above photo, by the way, is the site of the famous shootout between a German panther, a Sherman, and a very rare Pershing with a 90mm gun that happened to be right at hand.

Shootout at the Cologne Cathedral, with footage from multiple angles, including zoomed and stabilized views.

And just a few month ago over 1000 women were mass sexually assaulted by migrant animal filth there.

Remember you aren't supposed to talk about such things though because it makes Gul unhappy if you even mention it.
