Yes. I wonder if there is such a person in the US in 2017 who can act truly independently. I know it's probably unrealistic, but whenever there's a scandal with heavy political involvement, some European countries ask for foreign investigators. It's always a little embarassing but they usually bring results. Austria usually asks the Swiss (and vice versa but the Swiss have less to investigate).
And, Levin's now saying he can't be sure Obama ordered any tapping, saying he's not Nostradamus. This is after saying yesterday that the evidence was incontrovertible... Mouth. Checks. Brain. Cashless.
Around the 10 minute mark one of the commentators asks how much Obama knew or was involved, Levin then makes the Nostradamus comment. It's not a back track, as usual, people on the left like @matthunter are being disingenuous. http://video.foxnews.com/v/5348359459001/?#sp=show-clips
So anytime Trump pulls something out of his assCongress should investigate? Is this what you want congress doing?
No. Wiretapping is real. So is drunk driving. Obama is a drunk driver who killed people. Congress should investigate.
Supposedly Trump does not drink and hasn't in decades. His father and brother died of alcoholism so he is ardently against drinking.
What really irks me in this whole affair is Trump's pettiness. He just can't stop attacking Obama. He also can't stop going after Schwarzenegger. Kindergarten kids are less unforgiving. Right now that makes him a laughing stock. But how will this character trait work out once he has to go international? His domestic 'enemies' are wearing kid gloves. China, Russia, Iran, NK and even the EU won't. Only May will continue to crawl up his rectum because without the US the UK's future is rather bleak. A man of format would have ordered a quiet investigation and come out with results instead of unsubstantiated accusations copied from a garden variety of right wing conspiracy rags. He should stand above the Reality Distortion Field. He's in maybe the only position inside the government with access to absolutely everything. But he can't. He knows both Obama and Arnold are greater men than him so he'll continue to attack them like that fat kid nobody wants to play with. (And yes I know there was wiretapping. But it wasn't about him or the election. Maybe that's just bruising his ego?)
^Of course there's no chance that this is his idea of 'sauce.' [Certainly *I'm* enjoying how much it apparently pisses certain people off.] All the ex-presidents retired from politics, and even from public life, except the last 'nice guy' Carter who built houses for the poor. The idea of this last guy meddling because his ego can't handle that he should have a fork or two in him by now is disturbing. And kind of sleazy and certainly not statesman-like. I really though he'd pull an algore and make money by starting a hedge fund to exploit 'global warming.' Or go and pester euroland which used to love him, and then he could make the UN's life unpleasant instead of the americans who ditched him.
The tweets are a freakshow. Here are the bills that have been introduced in the main tent while the Big Clown creates a distraction: 1. HR 861 Terminate the Environmental Protection Agency 2. HR 610 Vouchers for Public Education 3. HR 899 Terminate the Department of Education 4. HJR 69 Repeal Rule Protecting Wildlife 5. HR 370 Repeal Affordable Care Act 6. HR 354 Defund Planned Parenthood 7. HR 785 National Right to Work (this one ends unions) 8. HR 83 Mobilizing Against Sanctuary Cities Bill 9. HR 147 Criminalizing Abortion (“Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act”) 10. HR 808 Sanctions against Iran
Should put her on the Supreme Court. Shut-up! You know you're wrong. You're an idiot! Case dismissed!
This statement is so blatantly false, and you should be ashamed for premising your shitty argument on such a clear lie. You can't be taken seriously anymore (not that many ever took you seriously). Several ex-presidents remained active in both politics and public life. Both John Quincy Adams and Andrew Johnson served in Congress following their presidencies. Teddy Roosevelt, Martin Van Buren, and Millard Fillmore each ran for president each just a few years after having already left office. Roosevelt remained fairly active in public life until his death. After William Howard Taft's presidency, Taft served as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court until his death. Both Nixon and Truman remained fairly active in public affairs, Nixon even wrote some books after his presidency.
Not seeing a scandal here. At least, not yet. If we assume that the rumours (yes, rumours) are true that the Obama administration set up wires on the Trump campaign, it would depend on the context. If, as already proven, there was Russian interference in the election, the government was well within its rights to protect American interests by conducting surveillance and gathering intelligence. If, as yet unproven, it was because the Obama administration wanted to undermine Trump's campaign, that's a whole other ballgame. But given recent history, I'm going to go with Door Number One and guess that there were serious and credible concerns about national security.
We are borg is the russian agent blackmailing trump. Knows trump has a bukake collection and oldfella is trumps crack dealer.
The irony is that Donny can't tell the difference between a wiretap (sooo 1960s) and a server: The two articles say that US intelligence officials went to the FISA court (which deals with intelligence matters) because they wanted to investigate possible activity between two banks in Russia and a computer server in Trump Tower (which, to make matters more confusing, might actually be located in Philadelphia).
The man can't use a spellchecker. It's no surprise he wouldn't know what a server is...except when it involved Hillary.
