They are definitely pro Brexit and against mass immigration but that is currently the position of all the major parties in the UK to a greater or lesser degree. According to you they must all be racist.

Here is the problem: You guys have so debased and misused the term against absolutely everyone you disagree eith it has become a meaningless term. Meanwhile the left has proven themselves to be the real racists over and over and over again demanding racial preferences, racial quotas, different rules for different races. That is true race based racist policiesyet you people keep projecting your racism at everyone else no matter if it does not apply. You want to stop racism? Stop being a racist who endorses race based policies.

The three main parties do not concur with the Daily Express view of immigration, you poor deluded idiot.

And Time named Hitler its person of the year. Your attempt to use an 85 year old article to try to impeach a paper almost a century later is pathetic and ignores nost of history.

But anything to ignore the facts, right? Attack tge source when you are unable to argue based on facts. I expect that type of nonsense from an igborant ideologue like @Ancalagon but it seems his party trick to avoid facts is spreading.

Their official polices are all that brexit is the will of the people, that they support it, and that mass immigration should be curtailed. They just argue about the degrees. So stop lying and trying to pretebd those are not main stream positions or that they are some how "racist" because that is horse shit.

For the nonreality impared. Notice how all but a few fringe groups admit Brexit was the will of the people and needs to be carried out? The major parties have the same concensus on immigration reform and setting yearly limits. They just differ on the exact numbers/degree.

According to you, I guess, that means they are all RACIST NAZIS!:drama::whacko::aurora::lolol::conspiracy::butthurt::crybaby:

    https://www.thelocal.ch/20180117/free-movement-initiative-could-result-in-swiss-brexit

The Swiss are angry and setting up for a show down. It seems they will have a referendum to end free movement and instead set up their own immigration system. The Swiss are angry that foreigners now make up 25% of the total polution and a disproportionate number of the people on welfare. Thos would basically mean ending alk 120 treaties they have with the EU but people want their country back and they are pissed at how the EU stole 1 billion Euros from them then did not deliver the open access promised. Plus they do not want to give into EU demands that biased, politically motivated, and corrupt EU courts get control over the Swiss judicial system.

Somehow seems like May is the only one who wants to push through this craziness. I mean, when even Farage says something like 'maybe asking again is a good idea...' you gotta think.

I wonder if this is a ploy to get parliament to veto Brexit. She was in the Remain camp, it's weird she would push away every opportunity to stop this madness. And make the naturally dignified Brits look like bafoons in the process.

Farage has been extremely vocal about the will of the people must be carried out and that voting over and over until you get the result you want is undemocratic. 40 years ago people voted to give the EU a try, the EU became an authortarian shit show lacking in any democratic legitimacy so 40 years later they voted to leave. In 40 years we can have another vote to see if people have changed their minds but not now.

Farage is very obviously looking for attention. He said it on the grounds that remainers keep talking about reversing the result and in the confidence that "leave" would win even more emphatically.

United Ireland, ROFL that's a good one.

Hell, the politicians could do whatever ridiculous and unthinkable deal they wanted, but... when it came down to it on the ground, good luck to the Gardai who come into Edgarstown, Corcrain or Killicomaine to try to enforce Dublin's writ. They'd better have their wills in order. And that's just Portadown. The real nightmare land would be east and south Belfast.

That's just the way it is.

In the event of a united Ireland, it's unlikely that they're just going to send the Gardai into Portadown and East Belfast, you know.
More likely the north would exist as a kind of federal entity (at least at first) with existing institutions such as the PSNI remaining for the time being.

Although there would of course be serious difficulties. My mention of it in this thread was obvious hyperbole, so thanks for playing.

Read the article. These were 15y projections. Said near term was too volatile to predict.

IIRC those 15yr projections came from the same mandarins as those who provided figures predicting Ming the Merciless levels of doom in the two years after a leave vote.

The amount of salt they need to taken with would turn the Pacific into the Dead Sea.

The entire British establishment has gotten used to using the EU as a convenient place to migrate blame to, they very much wish to retain that, so take such figures with that in mind.

    Disaster.

Can't get past the paywall, but if it's during a defined transition period, tolerable, if beyond, then not. Membership of the Customs Union must disallow sovereign trade deals, otherwise it's a back door into the EU, and what use are giant protectionist walls if someone's dug a tunnel under them?

So any meaningful Brexit must include exiting the CU, or we may as well just rejoin, otherwise we're in the worst of both worlds.

    No pay wall.

Aiming to have a vote to go Soft Brexit by the end of the month. Seems ambitious, but just getting it out there and in the public is a start.

I still think the best deal is no deal and the EUcan stuff its Brexit bill up its ass. In a few years, when it vecomes obvious how damaging there obstenance was to their own economies... The EU will come crawling back. Especially as the big tax increases and budget cuts encourage still more states to leave the shit show which is the EU.
