Jesus do you have a fucking clue how shit works in the military? Supply, logistics, finances, administration, etc.etc. that are involved in large scale military exercises? There are certain time lines & windows of opportunity/clearance for travel in host nations/states that have to be arranged months ahead of time for even smaller scale exercises. I think you watched too many episodes of Gomer Pyle USMC or McHales Navy back in the day.
