Anti-vaxx "doctor" and Mike MyPillow Lindell's go-to for crazy COVID conspiracy stuff person Sherri Tenpenny testified to an Ohio state committee yesterday that the vaccine magnetizes people. As in turns them into magnets. Can't wait for my second dose so I can fight Wolverine!

She also claims to have done up to 10,000 hours of research since the pandemic hit. There's only been 11,000 hours since Ohio locked down...

So my workplace had a discussion today about return to the office.

Someone raised the issue of vaccinated and unvaccinated staff, and whether unvaccinated staff could work on a separate floor.

Holy shit things went wild after that question. A lot of screaming about vaccines being a "choice" and that people who choose not to get vaccinated shouldn't be stigmatised.

I bit my tongue hard but really wanted to say, in my best James T. Kirk voice, "They’re animals. Let them die!"

I'll go on record that people who make the stupid and selfish choice not to get vaccinated absolutely should be stigmatized. Because they're stupid and selfish. :bailey:

This really is an issue that, as far as I can tell, governments around the world have failed to address.

On the one hand, allowing unvaccinated people to come into a workplace (particularly in countries like the U.S. and Canada, where the vaccine is freely available) opens the employer up to all kinds of civil liability.

BUT... if an employer puts measures in place that (rightly) stigmatise unvaccinated workers in order to protect other workers, they also open themselves up to civil liability.

    It's a lose-lose situation and it's ridiculous that this hasn't been addressed.

Certainly less of a big deal.

But it's going to be problematic for cruise lines in Florida, which is the single largest hub. Desantos has said he will fine any business that requires vaccination confirmation. What a psycho.

I'm just reporting what I am seeing. May very well be that the "emergency meeting" of CDC advisors will determine that based on the statistics, it's unlikely that the vaxxes are responsible for these cases.

I didn't realize the Moderna shot also had the possibility of heart inflammation. James got the Pfizer so we've been watching him and asking him about his health and stuff. But..., this vaccine was rushed. It generally takes years of clinical trials and licenses and all kinds of other red tape. I'm not surprised there are issues. I still reccommend getting the vaccine. I'm just not surprised there are issues. I'd be surprised if anyone is suprised.

Is there any sport more socially distanced than golf? Should have handed him a mask, told everyone to stay away from him, and let him finish the tourny. Just make sure nobody else touches his balls.

The important part is that, so far, none of the fully-vaccinated persons have had to be hospitalized.

    Only land crossings.

You can still fly in and out of Canada, if you agree to spend three days in a quarantine hotel (at your own expense), take a COVID-19 test and then suck our Prime Minister's nutsack.

Seriously, everyone should watch the above lecture series. It was created in 2016, so before Covid. But, much of the information is true today. Covid and many variations and mutations is going to last for another hundred years.

At least ..., that's my prediction.

    Seriously. Watch the lecture.

Oooh that's what Chad's been doing wrong: He's not the Canadian PM!
Sorry, @Fisherman's Worf, one more step before you can get Tuttle to orally massage your balls!

But come on. I've got my Pfizer FEMA 5G wireless death camp fully installed. You'd think the land border would start easing open for that!

I'm getting my second shot this week and will be fully-vaccinated with the Dr. Jekyll cocktail of Oxford-AstraZeneca (first shot) and Moderna (second shot). I'm hoping I get super powers.

But seriously, yes, it's about friggin' time the border opens for fully-vaccinated people.

I know one of the major whataboutisms that's been circulating up here is, what about people who forge their vaccination papers?

Well, if you want to take the chance of handing forged documents over to a border official, be my guest. DHS or CBSA will bend you over and fuck you in the arse really hard if they find out. You'll never be allowed to enter the country again and will have a criminal record, so go ahead and roll the dice. It's a stupid concern.

Nah, got to assume that it was well established beforehand that anyone testing positive wouldn't be allowed to participate. He rolled the dice and lost.

Shockingly, a Canadian study shows that people with a decent education tend to be the first ones in line for a vaccine.

    I'm shocked. Shocked, I say!
