    It doesn’t matter what economic platform any society uses, as long as you have assholes who get greedy and want to take all, and have others who allow others to take all, rather than take care of the many, it’s always going to fail.

    Until a society prioritizes the lowest in that society, the society will fail.

    By that logic, I shouldn't have to pay taxes to my local school district because I don't have children and shouldn't have to pay into Medicaid because I have full VA coverage (which is also paid for by taxes) :clyde:

    Thanks for admitting that the system you argue for has no demonstrative proof it would work for a society.

    Toll Roads have been done yes. We also find that below a certain charge the cost to collect the fees is more than the revenue, one of the many reasons that tolls are generally kept for large projects that can also be avoided.

    Tuition Schools certainly exist, and there are many places where they were once the norm/only option. Uniformly the introduction of public schooling happened because of the damage caused by that being the only option.

    Reminder. Looking for examples where your proposed solutions work.

    Can you give an example of a couple of the examples of socialism you mentioned me supporting? Together we can use the examples to set a mutually agreed standard for the bar.

    Funny how it was Citizen's United that used Freedom of Speech to take the lid off corporate political donations which have benefited Republicans bigly. Of course there's also Mitt Romney's memorable line: "corporations are people, my friend." Well, if they are people with all the rights and privileges thereof, I don't see any way to reconcile that with DeSantis's efforts to punish Disney. I'm sure FF will try though.
