Okay, yes, this is far off, and odds are won't happen, BUT: Okay, people are already talking about what if Auburn goes undefeated and gets shut out again, what then? Some talk has been made (and not just by Auburn) that if an undefeated SEC Champion gets locked out of a National Title game two out of the last three times, that the SEC should leave the BCS. Is that just grumbling, or do you think it would or even could actually happen?
You can have all the 10-2 seasons and Peach Bowl appearances you want. I'll take OU's national titles.
Some theorize that a new elite NCAA level might one day form, Anc. The big power conferences leave and form their own league. Some of the conferences adding a championship game as a first step in this direction.
I'm more worried about Tech than I am the hapless Aggies, but we'll know more about OSU when they play at Houston this weekend. Although if Tech can't score touchdowns I'm feeling better all the time.
It was a bad game, I'm not abandoning all hope based on 1 game in 77 being an off game for the offense. The defense showed up! Now they just have to make an appearance together.
Leach gave a great speech after the game. He called himself the worst coach in college football, he owns up to his mistakes. I like that.
Plus one of the old OU quaterbacks says he likes to splice in "clips" to spice up the teams film room time.
We may be hapless but at least we aren't you. How many times must the Ag's stomp a mudhole in your ass before you realize that you're always the underdog? Last year we only won five games and baylor took us to overtime. OSU was slaughtered as per the usual.
At least we're slaughtering our cupcakes, and not celebrating near misses over Army. Hell, we can even beat our top ten ranked rival occasionally. How many years has Mack handed you your ass now? With all your vaunted tradition, how come you've more in common with the Cowboys and Tech than you do OU and Texas? I'm sure RC Slocum is laughing as well..... Yeah, you aren't us, as we've got 48 NCAA national titles, and A&M only has two, in women's softball no less! I'm laughing at the superior athletic department, Khan.
Ok flow give me a minute to inventory your straw man arguments. Time Machine - Check Chickball smack- Check Introduction of other teams instead of your own - Check Non conference comparison - Check Head to Head comparison - . . . hmm . . . can't seem to find this one in your post Fran is 2-1 against Okie Lite. Wallow in your shame, for very few others can ever know it.
Which is why I'm cheering for A&M in most games this year, hoping Fran gets an extension. When have I ever claimed Oklahoma State to be a football power? What I will claim is that A&M is an under achieving school in the arena of athletics, although you have the finest marching band in history. Saying OSU is a football powerhouse is like saying A&M is known for it's cheerleaders.
That guy's been FARKed into more pics. A Big 12 bottom feeder was minutes away from grabbing a SEC scalp today, Georgia 14, Colorado 13. Tulsa beats Navy in OT, on a blocked extra point. Which high school do the Aggies play today?
I saw that Colorado game, they blew it. Oh, and I was on soonerfans.com and looking through all that guy's pics, those are great. Stunnedaggie in history is the best.
This weeks real match up is Texas Tech vs OU. Who will run up the score more? Right now it's Tech leading: 56-0 with 2 minutes left in the 3rd OU leading: 52-0 with 2 minutes left in the 3rd
Shit! The replay guy down at Houston must have gone to the Pac-10 officiating training school. They just reversed a call on a fumble that clearly should have been State's ball when you looked at the replay on tv. They gave it to Houston.
Dammit, the television commentators are still saying they can't believe the play was reversed in Houston's favor. DAMMIT!!! Houston just scored a touchdown on a long pass with 3 seconds left in the half. DAMMIT!!! It shouldn't have been their football. The instant replay showed the reversal was clearly wrong.
