Hey hosers, there's a game on on ABC! USC 10, Arizona 3 early in the 4th. It's a freakin' game this week!
ABC here is showing Notre Dame vs MSU... also a great game. 13:12 left in the game and it's 37-21 MSU.
I'm sure CSTV has a $500 per game budget, but you think they could put the first down line on the field during the telecast.
Well, USC 20, Arizona 3. SC held Arizona to 16 yards rushing. SC is tied with Oregon for control of the PAC-10. This was SC's 55th straight game scoring at least 20 points. USC A proud football tradition.
Way to fumble on the one yard line, Oklahoma State. With 2 minutes, 45 seconds left, we'd have only been down by 2 thanks to our earlier 2 point conversion. But no. He fumbled on the one yard line. sigh. It was raining buckets and the ball squirted out. No one to blame but themselves.
Well now that OSU has lost, A&M is the only undefeated team left in the Big XII south. They're number 1.
Wow, can't believe ND came back against MSU. 31-14 at halftime, and they still manage to win! That's the second straight week I've seen a team dominate for three quarters and blow it in the fourth - Giants/Eagles in the pros last week. And go Trojans! Looks like they have a real defense this year, now if they can get anything resembling a deep passing game going they could be very dangerous!
The real winner was the cable company which convinced people to pay $30 for pay per view to see the OU game.
I just followed both those games online. Shortly after we realized we actually got CSTV for some reason this week. Last week we didn't get it, this week it worked... So I could have watched the Tech game anyway, I did get to see OSU lose to the mighty power house that is U of H.
This weekend I'll be traveling down to College Station to watch Texas Tech take on the Big XII South's number one team, Texas A&M... ( I couldn't even get that part out with a straight face)
I lived in College Station for my first 2 years of school. I've eaten plenty of Freebird's burritos. There is actually one in Dallas now about 5 minutes from my house.
I used to do formation cross country out-and-ins up to College Station just to go to Freebird's. We'd park the planes, take the crew car for the Burritos, and then knock out another training event on the way back to Corpus. I could eat on one of those suckers for three days- we practically had to recompute weight and balance to get back.
There's at least one here and it's also about 5 minutes from my house. There's also a Wings n' More about the same distance away, but it's not as good as the one where I used to eat in B/CS.
The Wings n' More here isn't as good as the B/CS one either. Maybe I just remember it being good because I could only afford it once a month back then.
