I gotta say, Donald Sloan is a bad mama jama. His emergence the last few games is making me feel a little bit better about losing Acie Law IV.

    Sloan? Definitely.

Hold on. Signs of life from Lubbock. Do I dare hope? My daddy read an article on Sean Sutton in his hometown paper. Turns out Sean would very much like to deal with his big three who are trying to be the individual stars--Curry, Boggan, and Eaton. The way a coach deals with that is to bench a player. However, the team is literally too thin to bench anyone with Obi Manuelo still off his feet and the three players Sean kicked off the team prior to the season for drug problems because he didn't want that shit to get started. Then another one left. Sean is down five healthy players he counted on having at season's beginning. He's not oblivious, and I agree he'd damn well find a better point guard for next season. So, for what it's worth I'm willing to cut him slack for two or three seasons to get some decent players in there. Sean's not the problem at the moment.

Oh cripes, within one point with 1:28 left.

EDIT--oh god, Eaton. Make this last free throw. Please.

    59-57 Tech. sigh

If they'd actually shown half that effort, they'd have defeated A&M in Stillwater. If the last three goes in, we win. It didn't. :(

It sucks to watch your team fall apart doesn't it? One more loss and you'll know how I felt until Ash's boys help Tech get another 2 point win.

    Wreck'em bitches.

Boggan, you fucking moron. You walk 30 feet to head butt a guy as Sean is calling you out of the game in the last 38 seconds for your senior moment?? :wtf: What the hell is the matter with you? It's your last game at Gallagher. Couldn't you show some class? Would that be impossible? I swear, lately he's more trouble than he's worth. At least we won, but I can definitely see that Sean has had some attitude problems to deal with.

Good win for the Pokes tonight. Boggan fucked up real bad. The Big 12 pretty much has to take action on this. Otherwise, any player who has been ejected can feel free to do anything they want. I feel bad for the Cowboys fans. Y'all deserved better that what this season has brought.

    You're welcome, Tex. ;)

Yeah, I agree Ash. Gottlieb said a head butt doesn't require a game suspension by the rules, but we'll see. I don't know why Boggan all of a sudden is being such a dick. He didn't seem to care. I'm sure Cartier Martin and him were jawing at each other, but it was Boggan's last game at Gallagher. 38 seconds left. Pokes winning big. Why couldn't he just let it go? He walked all the way across half court to do it. :jayzus:

I believe Sutton when he says in the local paper that he'd have benched Boggan or the other two, Eaton and Curry, if they weren't so thin the team could barely stand. He did lose 3 players before the season because he wouldn't put up with drug shit. That's not an excuse, so I cut him some slack this year. I don't know what he's going to do about Boggan though. They'd need to win their last two games and win at least two in the post season to even have a shot at the field of 64. Maybe if Obi Maneulo can start this weekend like they said they could squeek by Baylor. Or maybe not.

    Boggan, you asshole. :jayzus:

    Boggan

Sutton suspended Boggan for the next game against Baylor. Way to go Boggan. You just cost us any chance at the post season field of 64. Cripes, if Manuelo can't play they'll be going only six deep. Six. :wtf:

No, we were on life support I'll grant you, but there was a tiny minute chance if we could have pulled off five wins in a row. With Boggan out, the tiny chance becomes zero chance.

Ash, the Aggies better pull away here or the Longhorns are going to snake another loss on them.

Damn, Texas, how could you let them steal the possession like that? :wtf: The Longhorn faithful are going to be ill for a week if this one gets away from them, too. How many overtimes has Texas lost? They should have put this one away twice. You don't give A&M a third chance.

Wow! That last shot almost went in. That was pretty sharp lobbing that free throw up before everyone was set. You can't say the Aggies didn't give it everything they had, Ash. They've got nothing to hang their heads about.

Ash, please, put the gun down, you have too much to live for...

Seriously though, I'm tired of watching the refs hand Texas the game, no matter who they are playing. A&M never even got to double bonus, Texas was at it with 5 min left in regulation. And on the last possession Law had, he was shooting when his Jersey was grabbed, that's 3 shots at the line, not two.

A&M fouls out 3 players, Texas 0. Do you seriously expect anyone to believe that Texas was playing that much cleaner of a game? That was just terrible.

I hate playing Texas and I hate watching them play. All they do is shoot free throws. Meanwhile, Law gets fouled in the process of shooting a three and only gets 2 free throws.

Last time they fouled out 2 of our starters and couldn't win, so this time they tried 3. Congratulations Texas.

Agreed. Kansas is a well established program and will get equal calls from the refs. Plus, with the exception of the OU game, Kansas has been raping their opponents since the A&M loss. VERY talented team. We were lucky to beat them.

Also, here's an interesting little factoid. A&M has 3 conference losses. Every single loss came immediately after A&M was awarded the #6 ranking. I'm starting to hate the number 6.

OU was a little bit of a wake up call the other day. The Hawks will be nice and sharp and ready to give the Horns a proper thrashing.

90-86 final, Kansas Jayhawks defeat the Longhorns. After all the hullabaloo, the Jayhawks won the league title again. I predict the Aggies will win the post season tournament in OKC next week. They'll have something to prove after blowing it for the regular season league title.

I can't even go because I have to work in the evenings next week. Dammit.

Oh Lord, 80-77 Baylor with a minute fourteen left. Cowboys have fought back from a huge deficit. If they lose, I hope they give that loser Boggan grief about it forever. Just had to be a man and head butt that guy when the game was in the bag, didn't you, Boggan? :jayzus:

EDIT--86-82 Baylor final. Thanks a lot Boggan. They'd have won if you were there, but you had to one up Cartier Martin. He looked plenty embarrassed sitting on the sideline in street clothes. Sean wouldn't even look at him.

You too can be an Aggie for the small price of $99.99. Just PM me with your official request and I'll send you the mailing address and details.

Seriously though, Baylor is actually a very talented team. Their guard play is outstanding more often than not. I can't explain how they've lost so many games. I'm becoming convinced that Scott Drew is just a bad coach.
