I've been hearing that too, good recruiter, not so good coach.

The Aggie kit sounds suspisciously like that Rectum Tech kit I bought from Tex.

It's probably illegal in Alabama! :soma:

The Aggie kit is maroon... I'm not sure if it comes with the rubber gloves either.

The score looks to be pretty brutal... I wonder what happened. At least I was making money instead of watching it... :clyde:

:bang: I cannot believe that ref called a third foul on Curry. The A&M player slipped on the floor and fell down. Un-fucking-believable. Dammit.

Boggan, you are one worthless lummox. I have no use for you anymore. He can't shoot for shit today but he can sure accumulate fouls and yell at Monds on the floor.

Well, three starters with four fouls with only eleven and a half minutes left in the game. That's promising.

 Why do I do this to myself? I know better, yet I allow the insidious hope to creep in.

Don't do this to me if you aren't going to win this game, Cowboys. Don't do it to me. Don't you make me hope.

Congratulations to your team. They flat out wanted it more down the stretch. A&M just cost themselves a shot at a 2 seed. Hope it serves as a wake up call for the Big Dance.

Thanks, Ash. :) The Aggies are going to make noise in the big dance. I have no doubt of that. I think Acie was just tired tonight or something.

Now all that needs to happen is for Texas to play four overtimes tonight.:soholy: Sheesh, I wish the Cowboys hadn't played themselves into a hole before the post season. It's really ridiculous that they were under 500 in the conference. Their own fault, though. Nobody else's.

Sorry about Tech, Tex. That blows that K-State defeated them in the game earlier. From the looks of things at the moment, O-State isn't going to get the chance to beat the crap out of the Horns. The Bears are taking care of that quite efficiently at the moment, huh?

I think the Aggies will end up with a #3 seed in the field of 64. Entirely winnable. I hope they get a decent draw.

Dammit, did the Horns win? What happened? Shit. Baylor, how did you let that game slip away from you?

Two reasons. First of all, Baylor is . . . Baylor. They were created to fail. Secondly, and less importantly in this case, Texas gets Dwayne Wade/Michael Jordan treatment from the refs.

But mostly it's cause Baylor sucks.

    Two terriffic games last night.

Oklahoma State relies on its defense to win games.
With only seven scholarship players, it's not surprising
that they wore down over the season.

I noticed that they had a full bench of players who don't play.
If those guys are coming to practice every day, and working hard,
you would think that someone could come off the bench,
and at least play a little defense.
They couldn't be worse than Franz Stein.

Hey, all we have to do is step on their feet. Then they're guilty of a foul. Gotta love that with four tenths of a second left in the half. Whatshisface steps on Terrell Harris and falls, and it's a foul. Terrell didn't trip him.

:rofl:Have fun with this game, Pokes. You're gonna have to shoot at least 65% in second half to beat Texas and the refs at the same time.

:( Mr. Hyde has entered the stadium. Dr. Jekyl has left. When Boggan missed two point blank chip shots, the good doctor has left. I'm recognizing the signs.

Oh good grief. Now I'm hoping again. Don't do this to me if you aren't going to win, Cowboys. :( It's not a pretty sight when I pout.

And Durant grabbing that rebound is going to be all she wrote. The Cowboys get the rebound, they win. It's "Durant time."

:whaa: :whaa: :whaa: :whaa: :whaa: :whaa: :whaa: :whaa: :whaa:

Gentlemen, it's been a pleasure. I must go forth to pout and curse and drink heavily now. I can't believe they let Texas get that rebound. You could have won, Cowboys. You should have won. Nobody's fault but yours that you didn't. :( What a difference a day makes, huh? What a difference a minute in the game makes. There'll be better days, Cowboys. I'll be rooting for the Aggies in the tournament, Ash. They really deserve to be there. Texas and Kansas will probably crap out early.

There were a few suspect calls, especially the one on Terrell Harris with .4 left in the first half, but I'd be disingenuous if I blamed this particular game on the refs. If State had grabbed that last rebound they'd have had the chance to go for the last shot with the shot clock off, but they let Durant get the rebound and take the three point shot.

    sigh

So Tech got into the Big Dance much to my surprise. It's time for you people to start making some predictions.
