I predict Tech will beat Boston College in the first round. I predict that Texas A&M got screwed and will have one bitch of a time playing their second round game against Louisville in fucking Kentucky.....but if they get past it they'll go to the final four because they'll get to go down to Texas for the next round.

My upset special is Marquette over North Carolina in the second round.

It's not so bad really. If we can't beat Louisville, then who are we going to beat in the Sweet 16 anyway?

That's always my view. OSU had a 2-3 year stretch of getting an 8-9 seed, which pitted you agaisnt the 1 seed in the second round. Shitty spot, but if the goal is to win the thing, you've gotta play those teams at some point.

I think A&M can beat Louisville, but playing a Kentucky team in front of a Kentucky crowd is a bitch. They have to be ready for it. I'm sure they will be. I'm picking them as a final four team on two of my four entries, so they damn well better make it, Ash. I'm counting on them. I still think Marquette is athletic enough to catch the Tar Heels sleeping.

Somehow the Pokes managed to win their regional in 2004 against Pitt and St Joe's, all while playing in New Jersey. Gig em.

I can't believe it. We're going to lose this NIT game because we couldn't grab a stinking rebound with less than a minute left. Just like with Texas. Un-fucking-believable. With 8.5 seconds left we have to hit a three pointer just to send it to overtime. Of course they fouled us and put us on the line for two. Of course, we can't make the first to even try to miss the second and hit it in on a rebound.

We come back from 17 down to lose by 3 points. Because we couldn't grab a rebound to go for the last shot. We had to foul them so they went up by 3 because they can make both FT's when the game's on the line. They say this is the biggest win of Marist's coach's career. We beat Texas A&M on Saturday and tonight we can't even beat Marist at home in Gallagher.

What happened to this season? :( What happened? We redefined the words "spectacular collapse." :jayzus: sigh

Here we go, Tech vs Boston College starting now. It's great to have a home office to work out of sometimes, I get to see the game. :D

Edit 1) Halftime, 41-39 BC. Actually Tech really put things together and came back from 7 points down only a few minutes before half. BC got a lucky call and got the ball back right before half and got off the last shot to break the tie for now.

Tech better pull this game out of their asses. I have ten bracket entries split between three contests. I only have BC picked on two of them. I believe in Tech, plus some yahoo sports expert had them listed as a minor upset special on a video segment on lower seeded teams winning in the first round. I'm staring intently at you, Tex. I'll hold you personally responsible, of course.:shitstorm:

Dammit, I don't have Davidson and BC picked together on a single bracket entry either. I've only got Davidson on one. If both Davidson and BC win......why do I even try to pick March Madness? :bang: :bang: I never get it right. At least I wasn't dumb enough to pick Stanford, thank God. Come on, Tech. Hang in there. We'll need a big 12 team later when Kansas takes its usual dive.

46.8 seconds left, down by 5... BC ball... this doesn't look good...

edit: 29.9 seconds left, still down 5, BC ball. :bang:

There we went, that last steal finishes us off. It sucks having a home office to work out of sometimes, because I watch the stupid game. :bang: :bang: :bang:

    Sorry, Tex. That sucks.

Damn Red Raiders. Eight bracket entries with one miss already. At least Maryland's pulling it out of the fire. Not that I actually give a crap about an ACC team in regards to anything other than a correct bracket entry.

So much for Oral Roberts. Somebody tell me that Penn did NOT just come back from a 15 point deficit to take the lead from A&M. Somebody tell me that didn't just happen.

A&M pulled it off. So I'll be pulling for them as we continue on. Kansas too, unless they run into the Ags in the big game. Fuck Texas.

Oh fuck me, look at that Michigan State/Marquette score already. I sure know how to pick 'em. My psychic abilities have fled the building. I thought George Washington was going to upset Vandy, too. That's the last time I listen to a damn thing from any media columnists about upset specials and who has finished their season strong. Crap. :shitstorm:

Marquette lost. Fuck me gently with a chainsaw. I had them upsetting North Carolina in the second round on some of my cards. Sheesh. At least Duke lost. That's the one upset I called right.

Me? Yes, I did. :) However, if Wisconsin doesn't pull its head out there are going to be a whoooole lot of brackets busted. Texas A&M at Corpus Christi played at Gallagher this year. O-State beat them, but they were pretty athletic. Gave State a workout. I think they caught the Badgers sleeping. Wisconsin's still down by 7 mid way through the second half.

Wisconsin pulled it off, 76-63 final. A&M CC just couldn't hang in there. I was pulling for them though. Nevada also wins in OT.
