I actually agree with the multicultural sentiment that the ad is trying to push, but mixing it with Coca Cola is (no pun intended) in poor taste. Surely some of you have heard of what that company does to brown people in Latin America, for example?
Mexican Coke is better than US Coke, but the trade-off in brown suffering to create such nectar is another topic. As is the question of whether we should let corporations commercialize the patriotic canon.
I love how many people are bitching about America the Beautiful being sung in different languages, and that it should only be sung in English because this is America. And that it's a disgrace to have it sung in any other language, I wonder how many of those ignorant fucks would shit a brick if the commercial was done using only Uto-Aztecan, Algic, Muskogean, and Iroquoian.

This really doesn't have to be a liberal/conservative thing in any way. I know plenty of people who consider themselves social conservatives, yet are capable of hearing "America the Beautiful" sung in other languages without losing their shit.
