Oh, and if you and Garamet decide to meet up and you find yourselves in Anaheim there is a great Lebanese place called Zankou Chicken. It looks like a little hole in the wall, because it is, but it actually got rated on Zagat. Awesome food for $10-$15.

They have been in business for 50 years and they have a deal with a slaughterhouse in L.A. to deliver chickens right off the packing floor fresh never frozen each day so it is fresh as can be and everything is made fresh in house that day. They even pickle their own vegetables and bake their own bread for that authentic Lebanese taste.

Only been to ca once and tha t was last year. Vegas vacation and rented a car and drove to Santa monica pier. Nice area but looks expensive. Also they have outlawed plastic bags there. They don't understand the concept of recycled polymers.

I find plastic bags to be a nuisance anyway. I originally started using my own bags when Target gave us all some when SF had the first ban on plastics and saw just how much better they were to hold things like clothing and boxed items. I'll usually keep some around the house for bathroom liners or tossing meat packages but I don't have two FULL 13 gallon bags' worth of them like my mom had holding valuable space in the cramped apartment, claiming she can use them for our dog that at eight years old only shit once a day, if that.
