Really, one of the fastest way to promote a backlash against the trans community is to make laws saying that you have to like someone, including their gender identity, on your own time. Businesses should be free to fire any individual who compromises their business by violating their inclusion rules, even if it is that assholes truly held religious beliefs that they must insult others for their god. We also have stalking and harassment laws for those who feel the need to attack others and harass them. But we do not need to make laws forcing others to like people.

I don't mind Shapiro and others having an opportunity at unused space in public universities we built. There are plenty of classrooms of various sizes to give him or others to speak. It would be nice if the public could get access to speak in some of these places during times when they were not being used. I also do not mind the students shouting at the Nazis when they come. If ben cannot provide proper prep and security for his event then he needs to stay home.

However, in no way should a university be allowed to assign students to fill seats by forcing them to attend guest speakers like I saw at universities I attended.

I’m guessing it has to do with the contract between twitter and Microsoft. Microsoft may be saying their contract was with twitter’s previous owner - kinda like what the Empire did to the Kaminoans.

In fairness to Elon, it would appear that he may be suing MS in retaliation for leaving, but it's not like he is suing them to order them to advertise with him. If I understand the story at the link correctly, part of the reason why MS is jetting out is because it has figured out a way to get what it needs from Twitter and its users through AI without paying Twitter to get it. So Twitter is suing for MS's allegedly illegal use of Twitter data rather than because MS up and left them.

I hope Elon takes a solo trip up in his next rocket. With or without oxygen.
