Fla. deputy suspended over rough arrest

See, I just don't get this as being a problem, becuase I have this little thing called control.

I can be around someone I am not particularly fond of and still be the sweetest person.

I am in no way rude to cops I'm just not fond of being around most of them. But since I have control over my emotions and actions they don't know it.

I'm sorry if you don't know what this concept is.

I've known a lot of cops in my time, and most of them (damn near all of them) have been stand up guys. In fact, one of my dearest friends on Earth is a Jax police SWAT sergeant. Hell, the guy I'm flying with this week is a 27 year LAPD retiree- air branch, SWAT, and a street cop in his day. Lives in Boise and we hang out sometimes- awesome dude.

I also count Elwood among the most honorable people I know, given that I only know him online.

I've also known a couple 'bully' cops. One lived damn near across the street from me in GA- when his wife died, not a single person from the neighborhood showed up at his door or offered their condolences. Even my wife- and if you knew her, you'd know that was saying something about this guy's character.

Police are like the military- a cross section of society. You've got good guys, bad guys, and all those shades of grey. And the guy who is an asshole five days out of seven will probably still run into a burning building to save a kid. So let's judge on a case by case basis, not make sweeping generalizations.

There's still no reason to go all Nazi on her ass though, dont you think? This is America after all not the USSR.

Well then, why don't we just shut down the board.
