Yeah...that's exactly what the vid shows. Him calmly walking up to the counter. SCREAMING HIS GODDAM HEAD OFF!!!!! I've been there. I've kicked a few myself They aren't.....human.
It looked to me like he was happy to be there and was bouncing up and down at the thought of getting a Happy Meal.
Oh noo. He was screaming. Had to be. One of those ear splitting, your brain is boiling screams. It takes a lot to piss off a downs. Trust me.
C'mon, his dad was right behind him/her and the kid stopped several feet short of his/her attacker. The teen had to take three steps before he could kick the toddler.
Minimal harm is anything less than being dead when you attack a child. Universally we agree that pedophilia is just about the worst thing an individual can perform - attacking a child in any way shape or form is grounds for termination. Period. Any other behavior is anti-human nature. Period. You cannot be human and accept that there are reasonable grounds for attacking a child as an adult. You can be a human looking animal but you aren't human. No, luckily for him we aren't as barbarous as we once were and didn't simply consign the downie to a cliff with sharp rocks at the bottom. He should have been kept in check by his handlers - that is part and parcel to not terminating individuals that cannot behave "humanly" in our society. Either his mother (if that is indeed her in the video) or some other human should have been responsible for his actions. Only because idiots cannot understand that being human involves responsibility. A threat to a child in which I have less than two seconds to judge is going to receive the maximum amount of force with which I can bring to the situation, similarly a threat to a woman, a defenseless man, a cripple, or any other individual that seems to be threatened by use of force by another supposed "human". You can claim society might punish such action on my part; so be it, I know that I am acting in the best interests of those involved and am quite willing to risk whatever "society" might decide. And? This is an empty statement. You attack someone smaller and/or more defenseless than yourself you better have a damn good reason, and defending your child tops the list. The downie definitely initiated the situation based on the video, defending your child - hell any child - certainly trumps the attack. You willing to bet on the outcome of this case? I'm just wondering how much money you'll put up to back your aggressor?
After viewing the video, I'm not convinced that the "Downey" (thanks, UA! ) actually touched the kid. There's no denying that he did make an aggressive move towards the kid, though. I mean, come on. Kicking at someone is an aggressive move whether the blow lands or not. I'm not going to say that the father overreacted because I wasn't there. He might've only seen the act in his peripheral vision and, to him, it looked like an actual kick and he responded. If that'd been me and someone did that to my kid, I don't know if I would've KO'd him, but I sure as hell would've shoved the living fuck out of him and then put myself between my kid and them. If I found that he had actually kicked my kid, that's when the beat-down would start.
Pffft. I would have knocked that motherfucker OUT. I don't give a good goddamn what his malfunction was.
You're an idiot. You call this an attack? Only in the barest sense of the word was it an attack. It was a retard acting stupid. There is no "minimal harm" defense in a court room. Your ass would be in prison and for what? So you can prove your some big tough guy? Beat up on a retard did ya? Yeah that will go over real well with the other prisoners. You'll get punked out so fast you won't know whose dick was first in your ass and mouth. For fucks sake put down the crystal meth. Life ain't perfect. Shit happens. You're acting like he pulled out a machete and hacked the other kid to death. You won't be saying any of this bullshit in front of no judge and certainly not in front of your little kid cause you'll be too damn busy begging for mercy and wiping the tears out of your eye. You think you're so damn tough like so many of the inmates I see. But unlike most in society I get to see the other side and in the end they are all giant cry baby pussies. There are ways of defending without being an asshole. Jump in his face. Push him back from your kid. And how much money to back my aggressor? Seriously put the meth down and seek help. I mean really what the fuck are you even talking about?
Remember that time we went to the gunrange, and that kid was yelling, and you shot him? Yeah, good times.
How do you feel about corporal punishment? Should parents who swat their kid on the butt be publically turned inside-out?
Nothing pisses me off more than loud kids on a gun range! Just between you and me though, I wasn't actually aiming for his head. I just meant to get his attention with a flesh wound, but I jerked the trigger. I need to work on that.
No. Corporal punishment is about teaching children which behavior/actions are acceptable and which are not- in the long run it is actually for the betterment of the child and their future ability to interact properly with society. If done reasonably it isn't in any way debilitating and does no lasting harm. Quite the contrary, in fact.
Yes. Hell, there's a range in Maryville, TN that does birthday parties like Chuck E Cheeze...but with guns.
Yes its an attack - any implied threat is assault if you want to get all court-roomy on me. To the first sentence of this tripe, which is the only one with any merit, the threat to the guys kid seems real enough without the benefit of hindsight that he won't face charges. Yes indeed shit happens, and you're acting like the guy was killed by the punch. He was knocked on his ass, and rightfully so. No, I've taken my lumps in front of a judge and served my time. Obviously you think I don't know the system; but I've been there and done that, don't remember crying or pleading for mercy either. I'll admit the bet thing was a bit over the top; but I was pissed about thinking of myself in the same situation. Personally I don't know how I would have reacted - I don't think I'd have punched the guy, but I cannot fault the father doing it in this situation.
