Not for nothing, but the people who were supposed to oppose clinton based on his immoral actions never brought her out because back then it was worse to be a woman than to destroy a clinton. It was not the dems who put clinton on trial, it was the republicans, and they ignored the claims of women about clinton. Trying to pass this off on the dems after the republicans told all women to go fuck themselves is probably just going to show most of them that the dems have evolved and the republicans are still the same old party.

Really, to expect women to avoid the new found allies they have in the democrat party because years ago they did not do anything is probably going to backfire. Kavenaugh only got in because of republicans being lock step in their ignoring of women. You cannot even trust their tokens to do the right thing because they only pretended to be middle ground. You cannot believe their women when they say they will vote the right way when it matters. Not all women will realize the truth, but this did just send a bunch of the ones in the middle left. That would not be so terrible if not for the reality women are not a minority. That is half the population of every state they just fingered. It is also half the people in gerrymandered areas they just fingered. This will penetrate into the heart of their territory where their anti brown people stance has less effect.

Despite the gloating about this hairline victory they had to pull every dirty trick to accomplish, this is a loss. This shows what was once a non issue is now very powerful, and it is only going to be harder next time. The elections for congress are coming up and a month before that they slapped fifty percent of every district in the face. I don't know a woman who does not have a direct connection with molestation, rape, and subjugation. This is not something that just happens to hollywood people, or people around power. This happens at every school, in almost every job, and in every walk of life. The metoo movement is about being a woman and something that every one of them has feared at some point even if they have not suffered from it. The idea the movement was defeated by this nomination shows a lack of understanding about how millions of people throwing support to scared people who hide in shame changes the way people think about things. Just like when the flood of gays came out it started moving the line towards a better place this will tell scared and ashamed women they can be strong and the attack does not define them because there are tons of people like them, and they can heal and get justice.
