5 is the easiest hole for sure. Which ones are you having trouble with on the back 9? I screw up 13 a lot because I go for the hole in 1 instead of playing it safe.

Good for you. I played two crappy final round-games, so there obviously wasn't any presure on ya. I hit more Water in those games than I have in the past month! Think I had a 7 on one hole and a couple of 6's as well. Ugh. Bad time to choke.

I shall gain my revenge in the next tourney (assuming I make it past Clyde)!

Hole #12 has been giving me fits lately.
#13 I used to be good at hitting safely for the deuce, but I've lost the touch recently.
#14 I'm just plain hitting too hard and rolling into the lake past the green
#16 my troubles are fully dependent upon the wind speed/direction

Actually, I spend more time in the water than Michael Phelps. :finger:

But Tex, I hear you've got a problem--you keep sinking it into the wrong hole! :soma: :brokeback:

You're right--I just dated myself pretty badly there.

The wind speed is 0.9. I was not compensating enough, but that's my strategy on 13. Bank the back wall and get a hole in 1. The wind can make it very tricky, I often times land right in the back river instead of hitting the wall. If it's a 1.5 speed wind straight up or down the shot is damn near impossible.

Anything 1.5 up or down i dont use the back wall and just try to curve the ball all the way in from aiming above or below the fairway boundary

15 is the one that always gets me, i cant help going straight for the hole, no matter what the wind is doing.

Also a note about that screenshot, the difference in a good game and a great one is so small. I barely missed having a hole in one on 2 and 3 and I managed to get 3's on 7 and 8 which is very unusual. Normally it's the back 9 where I make mistakes.

Like this, but it hardly ever works.
This is with a 1.8ish straight up wind

I have lost my touch for 15. I try and bounce at the front of the little peninsula into the hole but now it seems like I always over shoot or under shoot. You can always shoot for the sand behind the hole and make the easy 2nd shot but if I'm going for the record I feel like I have to take every chance at a hole in one and eventually I'll have a game where a bunch of them line up and I don't have any of those 3, 4 ,or 5 stroke holes.

15 can be tough when trying for the ace. I usually try for the sand and a safe Two, but if going for the hole-in-one, it's a very fine line between enough power to get it over the water, but not so much power as to skip across the island and into the drink on the other side...(which is why I usually go for a safe deuce there).

Oh, real fair. I'm up against Leach in round one.

Of course, it doesn't help that my ball became a submarine on every hole with a water hazard...

Try beating a 58, Danny Boy!

But I think I might be able to get in under 50... :)

39! Suck it, Clyde! :finger: ;)

After my recent horrid streak, this was a nice, consistent game. Only one hole-in-one, but also only four 3's, and nothing over a 3.

Looks like we've got ourselves some friendly competition going on!

My best score EVER is a 43.

    I don't reckon I'll be moving on...

I had Dan beat until Hole 17 when I dropped it in the water. Oh well, playoff round, I guess one of us is going to have to score a 30 something to move on.

Not only did I not beat it, I didn't even come close, I had 44.

    Oh well. Maybe next time.

I knew I was in trouble at hole 11 when I needed all hole in 1's to tie.
