Yeah that one is a bit fucked up. First time round I found myself shooting over a lot of peoples heads. I've gotta say a lot of people have been disapointed with how short the SP campaign is, but how many games are as replayable as CoDWaW?
I have to admit that I wasn't as disturbed by this very much... I hope that doesn't say anything bad about me, but I guess I feel as if you've killed one virtual simulated person, you've killed them all. ... but I did purposely miss a lot of the civilians. sos :stinky: :blahblah:
On the "No Russian" mission I wasn't especially phased, but I did end the suffering of the crawlers that I saw.
^^^ Yeah, when I was playing it, my wife actually started crying a little bit and yelling, "Sean, can't you at least put the wounded out of their misery?!?!?!?!?!?"
finaly got the nuke in multiplayer...and my maniacal laugh can be heard to this day over Lake Woebegon
Wow... Modern Warfare 2 just lost the Spike TV VGA for Game of the Year to Uncharted 2. I know it was out for only a month, but so were the other nominees except for Batman which was out 2 months.
I could use some help completing the "Overwatch" Spec Ops mission in the Bravo level. It's 2 player only....
I've created three main classes for multiplayer, these are: General purpose class: SCAR-H with underslung M203 and an AA-12 as secondary weapon. Perks are Marathon, Steady Aim and Stopping Power. Special grenade is a flashbang. Sniper class: Barret .50 BMG with AA-12 as my secondary. Perks and special grenade are as with the SCAR class. I use this one mostly on Derail. Light, charging / melee class: For use on compact maps where you're likely to run into people face to face a lot, such as Scrapyard. The primary weapon is an MP5, the secondary weapon was some other strange looking SMG I can't remember the name of, but recently changed to a .44 Magnum. The special grenades are flashbangs, the perks are Marathon, Lightweight and Commando. With light weapons and the use of lightweight combined with marathon, I find that I can move about very fast, encountering people close in I usually charge and melee them. Commando increases the range for that. Flashbangs are useful on rooms full of enemies, particularly if you then run in and melee them or open up with an automatic shotgun. If you ever see a player called DeathByZombies, that's me.
I use the SCAR-H with the red dot..... and the PP2200 side arm. My Perks are Slieght of hand, Hardline and Steady Aim.
I'll give you a hand, but I don't have a headset so if you want to be the gunner and shout some commands I'll hoof it. I've played most of the spec ops on split screen with a friend and we've completed the majority of them on veteran. It takes quite a bit of communication for some of them. A couple of the ones that can be done single player more or less NEED a second person to play the bait. Re: SCAR-H Once you get the ACR switch over to that- it has pretty much the same fire rate and damage but it has much less recoil so it fires much flatter. I accidentally completed two of the online challenges in a TDM round. I was rounding a corner with my sniper rifle and walked into an enemy, backed up two steps and hip fired at his head. It went through him and hit the guy behind him in the head killing him as well. I love the intervention.
I have built classes around each weapon type + a stealth type for my 6th prestiege slot for my Assault Rifle class I have the TAR-21 with FMJ and Holographic, Sidearm is the M23Raffica for my SMG class I have the UMP-45 FMJ, M9 FMJ(can't wait to unlock the M-1014 again) , and Scavenger Pro for my LMG class I have the AUG-HBAR FMJ, with the AT-4 and Scavenger Pro Sniper Class Intervention Thermal FMJ, Ranger Akimbo FMJ I keep the defaults for the riot shield class, although I switch equipment to the blast shield and upgrade to the M93Raffica when it becomes available and my Stealth Class is M16A4 Silenced M93R silenced Scavenger Pro, Cold-bloded pro, Ninja Pro, throwing knife, and smoke
got into an infinite ammo match today, turned my m203 into a mark 19, and I got the care-package drop kill finaly
You mean a glitched map, right? I've joined a couple of games that turned into that. Its nice on larger maps because you can stay alive. I got an AC-130. Loved it.
How is it that one match I can go 37-8 for my KDR, and the next match is 7-14? KDR is so important to me. To be honest it is the only thing that satisfies me in the game.
^my KDR when I first started got up to 2500D 1800K but now it's 9,142K 7,118D and I wonder that, too, i've been in games that I have absolutely dominated, then the next match, same people shuffled around i'll get absoultely PWNed oh, also, something to look out for, I have seen clans pop up on merc team deathmatch
I won't even discuss my K : D ratio... Suffice to say, it's below 1... Way below. There are some truly murderous people on the web.
Going through the leaderboards.... Amongst all my friends, I'm at the very bottom one or two in every category.... Most notably in accuracy. Top of the list is a guy who is at level 70 prestige.... He has an 18.8% accuracy while I'm at 9.8%. Also I see that I have about 12 hours total play time while he's over 8 days total play time. It would be awesome to be able to play like that but I can't.
Just posted on Penny Arcade: This is the type of stuff that happens when you rely on automatching and the games are hosted by individuals. (mind you, this guy is playing on the 360 so he probably wasn't going to get dedicated servers anyway). Dedicated servers, on the other hand...
KVD is .99 or so. I'll be working on that when I get the game back- a friend is borrowing it for the moment. The wins v losses is kind of a bum stat, because you can generate a hell of a lot of losses and still do great when playing free for all, but can do really shitty and get the win in a team match.
KDR is 1.25, found another guy cheating, he had his rifle firing grenades, though the kill cam clearly said his M-203 was empty
Shit! I just went 2-14! I'm going to go in my bedroom and hug my knees while sucking my thumb for a minute.
