Curiously, these "offers of peace" are often refused when the government of Israel agrees to surrender sections of the West Bank to Palestine, then promptly announces that it's breaking ground for a new settlements in the very area that they've supposedly agreed to give up, thus making it clear that they had absolutely no intention of actually doing what they agreed to do. (This happened a number of times during Netanyahu's previous stint as PM in the 90s.)

Yup, though a goodly number of these rejections only occurred because of provocation like the aforementioned new settlements being built in areas that Israel promised to surrender. Or similar events which undermine the whole process, and make Israel's agreements appear to be every bit as trustworthy as the many treaties and agreements that the US government has made over the centuries to America's indigenous population.

Er, no. He's saying give them the disputed lands back a/k/a the West Bank, not all of Israel. Israel giving up the West Bank isn't synonymous with the nation's destruction. Obviously, you're an idiot.

Because giving them Gaza worked out so well? They also already have virtually all the west bank minus border areas Israel can't surrender for its own security yet the terrorist attacks and missiles keep coming. He knows that the goal of the animals is the same as it always has been, "to drive the Jews into the sea" (a.k.a. destroy the state of Israel) l, and giving them 97% of what they wanted didn't convince them to make peace. Land for peace has brought no peace at all nor will it in the future because the animals want to keep acting like the animals they are.

Precisely. Before Israel had the West Bank, they not only successfully defended themselves, but were so successful in their defense, that they somehow managed to expand their territory, and acquired the West Bank itself.

Israel never "defended" themselves without the West Bank. The launched aggressive wars so they could gain strategic depth.

But it is more complicated that that. The West Bank was previously Jordanian territory. For the most part Jordan has lacked interest in threatening Israel (except for being conned into joining the Six Day War against them with disastrous results).

A Palestinian nation on the West Bank would NOT be as when Jordan controlled it. It would be a nation of people with decades hatreds and grievances against Israel suddenly gaining a solid mass of sovereign territory they could use as a base against Israel at will.
