Yesterday morning with a friend, as the Market slowly gets to it's coffee. That behind us is what developers want to tear down for condos....
Tennyson poses in dramatic lighting on my drawing board. He was helping me sign some documents and get them ready for the mail.
So. I had to take her out to drill the holes for the antennae cabling and remount the roof lights. Which was an excuse for photos. The paint really needs work when you get close, but from 10-20' away...
I adopted a cat today. Her name is Luna. She's warming to me very quickly. She already lets me hold and pet her, she really loves to be brushed.
awesome! For whatever reason black cats always make great pets. My son recently had to give his up because he relocated - but no doubt when the Animal Services put her back on the market at Pet Smart somebody snatcher her up - she's friendly and curious.
She's already been here a day and already is attached to me. She's figured out that I like to give out pets and I'm happy to brush her.
The moss roses I planted were lagging way behind the ones still in their plastic bins but they took up the challenge overnight The wildflowers are making up for lost time CROP CIRCLES
Round 2, the parent company of Polar Lights, bought up AMT, MPC and some other model companies, and has the rights to Star Trek and Space: 1999 among others. In 1976, MPC issued a kit of the Space: 1999 Hawk fighter, which appeared in only one episode. Sci fi modelers have been wishing for a reissue for 40 years. Instead of a reissue, R2, under the MPC label, tooled up a whole new, MUCH more accurate 1/72 scale kit for us! So finally after decades of waiting, I got to build a better Hawk.
We have bush that gets white flowers for about a week once a year. This year I noticed that a very few of the flowers had this lavender streak. Interesting.
your home owners association is going to charge you a "zoo maintenance" fee if they see that pic! Wish I had a camera this morning - while I was waiting in the long line to get through the post gate, a fawn was walking along the tree line about 50 meters away without a care in the world. All legs and spots, bouncing along putting on a show for the commuters!
what a cutey! Pretty much what I saw a couple of days ago, but walking along the tree line oblivious to the dozens of drivers staring at it. A couple of years ago a doe and her fawn hung out right next to the drive-thru line at the Burger King on post for a couple of weeks.
She's sorta cornered herself here - to the left is the intersection of two local roads, and behind the wall is a steep hill and somebody's corner-property yard. Not sure how she got here, but she'll probably cause some poor schmuck to slam his brakes on when she leaps onto the road.
