that's what she said! Anyway yes deer convoys are pretty smart! Safety in numbers with plenty of eyes, ears & noses to detect any threats. SHTF and they scatter in every direction and predators can't attack them all. Sadly it rarely works out for deer when they are in a convoy crossing a busy road . :bergman:

Not mine, but a nearby lake shot that I thought was worthy of saving/posting.

This came up on my facebook memories from 8 years ago. The caption says
"If you got passed by 8 old people climbing up a mountain, you are woefully out of shape.
Yea, that's me - either stretching or gasping for air, not sure which."

The owner of the lot next to my girlfriend's house has finally started to clear it off in preparation for building.

You can see our RV in the background of this shot.

Looking toward the street from her front lawn. First thing the crew did was put up the silt fence to protect her property.

    HLot4.png

    HLot5.png
They took down some BIG trees. The one in the foreground here was dropped about 1030 on Saturday morning. Made such a huge thud that I thought for sure they'd hit the house with it, but no. Dropped it right where they needed to. You can also see the sound wall along 495, which runs right behind the house.

He loves the frisbee. When I take him to the park, he will not play with any of the other toys - not the ball, not the stick, only the frisbee. And, he knows/calculates where it's going to be within his jumping range.

dogs have a great grasp of learning and calculating the speed of and reacting to moving objects. Okay actually most predators with binocular vision do but it is pretty awesome.
