unexplained weight loss? might want to see a doctor - you never know! If anything is amiss with your health it's better to catch it early.
nothing serious... jsut down a few pounds over the last few months from the lack of exercise and it sinks from my shoulders to my midriff. Got a new bike at the beginning of summer, but didnt put nearly the miles on it I'd hoped.
wow! The shadow is like a perfectly composed picture in itself. I wonder how many times we have all seen shadows like this but never noticed them?
As I always point out, I'm not so good with figures and faces, but I like to try once in a while. Here's a resin kit the main character from the Elfquest comic book series, "Cutter." Yeah, he's a little walleyed.
Unusual on several counts. I usually cook ribs low and slow, but I not only cooked these fairly quick (5 hours) but I ultimately put them in foil and basted them with sauce at the end, something I've never done before. Plus, I crop nearly all my photos to 16:9 but left this one in its native format.
Autumn crap. Tomorrow's project: Need the leaf blower to go on our Sunday drive! The leaves look nice up THERE... on the trees.
Geez Forbin, you missed an opportunity to give us the Voice of World Control. Your photos are an excellent example of why autumn is by far my favorite season.
I like autumn too - I can't wait until it comes to my neck of the woods! Still in the mid to high 80's here by the time I get off work. I still haven't had to run my heat yet.
awesome! Also like the tiny potatoes. I'm not a big potato fan per se, but the little round flavored tender ones are the "sliced bread" of the potato world IMHO.
Here's the family room in the house in Arizona. If this doesn't scream 1970s to you . . . And here's a self portrait taken at the end of my efforts this past July, after I'd got done cleaning the whole place. The mirrors are in the master bedroom's closet/dressing room. Lots of closet space and a small make-up table in the corner you can see reflected next to me in this image.
Riveting! As I watched it I narrated the goings-on to myself with a Sir David Attenborough voice! "The common American Grey squirrel is deceptively vicious. Mythology and folklore going back centuries allude to them devouring an entire loaf of Wonder Bread in one sitting."
Moebius Models' Conan, "Death on the Black Coast" - a model version of John Buscema's classic cover for Marvel Comics' Conan the Barbarian #100. Cold cast porcelain, 1/8 scale. My subtle chalk pastel shading didn't photograph very well, darn it.
