They’ve begun to backfill around the foundation next door to Holly’s. The soil is so soft from rain that their Bobcat kept getting stuck. The property owner took down some trees before digging the foundation and told Holly she could have some of the wood. So today I was stacking big chunks of it. Some of those pieces are well over a hundred pounds. It’s green wood and very heavy. Took a selfie when I was done. Do I look tired?
not really. Side note I have those exact same socks as you! Cheap, comfy and very durable. As for the big hunks o' wood those were the kind we would put in our wood-burning stove in Wisconsin when it was bedtime because they would burn all through the night. In the morning we would throw some birch kindling on those crunchy, cracking coals and BAM! It was flame on and we had heat going for the day. These kids today just don't know!
My girlfriend’s current client gave her a nice baked tilapia as a thank you today after she took them out to see more houses.
Love it! Did you make the hair or buy it? Yeah last night I passed out candy a quite a few adorable kids & babies but I didn't take pictures because that's creepy and unsettling, but some little girl was dressed as a purple haired female superhero and she took the cake IMHO. One little boy was dressed as a farmer and even drove his own toy tractor.
My apartment got renovated last year... My kitchen became my bedroom. (Last year, stuff moved around) And my living room\bedroom is now a living room\kitchen... (When i was packing stuff up) (New curtains) My entertainment centre And a recent pic of me:
When my parent sold the family home in 1993, a house over 100 years old and hand-built in a mother/daughter setup, The new owner tore out the older of the two kitchens and made it into, well, I guess just a room. Could be a home office, I guess. The newer kitchen became a living room, and my parents' downstairs bedroom became a new modern kitchen. It was just damn WEIRD visiting there and seeing kitchens that had been kitchens my whole life not being kitchens!
Sad little wet squirrel always hangs out on our porch railing to get out of the rain. He's sort of company, right out my window when I'm on the computer here.
My mini painting skills are slowly improving I also just got an airbrush and decided to test it out on a project I've been working on.
*Star Trek fight music plays* In the trees behind my house last night around 9:30. The 4-pointer is probably the same one who fought the 6-pointer in my previous pics, he's around here a lot, but the spike is new.
I just went back behind my fence to dump some leaves and found Mr. Majestic 8-pointer standing there daring me to bother him. I didn't even know there was an 8-pointer in the neighborhood!
nice foliage! It's pretty subdued and not too vivid in my neck of the woods this year. Too dry? Too wet? I have no idea really. I would like some cool weather though - a couple of days ago we tied a record high for the date with 84 degrees.
Oh, jeeburs - orb-web spider! They love doorways. Walk into a web unawares and get a face full of . Don't know whether or not they're poisonous, but they're creepy as hell. Best thing is to wait for bright daylight and whack down the entire web with a broom. Watch where the spider goes. If scurries away, leave it be. If it comes toward you, kill it. I love spiders usually, but these guys are disturbing.
oh then you would really love it when (under the cover of darkness) they infest the entire route to your morning deer hunting blind and they are all hanging about face level. It's a great way to jump-start your heart at zero dark thirty!
