I tied the dogs out a few days ago, only for Zane to start insistently barking at a cricket or something he'd found just a few inches out of his reach. Turns out he found a nest of baby bunnies! We covered them back up afterwards and we've been avoiding that part of the yard since.
heh-that's taken by a guy i went to the academy with a million years back. literally snapped the moment i saw him. you're seeing a joyful Turkducken there
wow... here's an old one that popped up. the end of one of the worst years of my life one genuine vintage Marvel No-Prize for whoever can find 13 year old me.
oh shit! You had to wear a beret? You have my full sympathy. I have nothing good to say about the beret.
Pebble-grain? Fuck, that's just cruel. The last generation of black boots like I was issued were hard to shine because the leather wasn't that slick, but you could at least get a decent shine on the toe end.
by the end of the school year those toes were smooth like jazz. Spend 2 hrs a night on homework, and another hour buffing your boots. We only were given the one pair which we wore five days of the week. Of course it was a muddy path to and from the school buildings :/
I trying find a bit of smoke rising, or a kid wielding a leather jacket, but I just can't pick you out.
I feel your pain! The US army (maybe all branches by now) finally got rid of these. Now they have like soft suede leather or something that you don't shine. Super good traction too. It never made tactical sense to have shiny combat boots. Wear all camo clothing & gear then have bright shiny boots on your feet.
funny thing is, I still wear them. slap some polish on every week or so to preserve'em, but shine? fuck right of with that. I've got significant pronation in my ankles and these old beasts are pretty good support. They were good enough on a work site (not safety approved though) and I can stay on my feet for hours in'em behind the bar.
To eliminate the motion blur, shoot shutter priority and set it so it's higher than the focal length of the lens.
Good point - I'll try that if he's wheeling around again today. I get complacent with the auto setting.
April's model kit: http://www.inpayne.com/models/planes/wildcat.html That's using the old "blow on the prop and hit the shutter" trick.
The other day (Saturday?), we had bright sun/snow squall/bright sun/snow squall all day. The weather map looked like somebody threw a handful of popcorn on it. Happy May!
snow in May? That can only mean one thing - record breaking heat in June! That's the way it always seems to end up for some reason.
