I'm listening to Rick Sanchez. Yes that guy. He got a job on 610 WIOD and actually he doesn't sound like a fucking idiot like he was on CNN and WSVN Channel 7 Miami. He's actually very interesting to listen too. His voice also sounds better then it ever did on TV. I think he found his true calling. Radio.

One of the interesting things is he's discussing that this shooting is way overblown and that the media is stretching it because it's a slow news day. Two suspects got into an argument, pulled guns and started shooting at each other. He's talking about how when he was on TV and everyone else in the media wants to keep people riveted to the seat to watch.

He also mentioned that the 2nd suspect angle is false because of the way the police are acting. The police are loafing around the scene and he says when that happens there is almost never a second suspect.

So we have two people got into a fight, shot at each other, and it was on a college campus.

Maybe they were just celebrating Gun Appreciation Day a little late.

How can that be? Aren't college campuses "gun-free zones"?

Could be. From what I've heard from people at the scene, witnesses say that two guys were arguing about something when one pulled a gun and started shooting.

I found three different news articles about shootings in Sarasota, Florida over the last few days. You'll have to be more specific. Do you have a link on the story you're talking about? I think with all of the craziness that constantly comes out of Florida, it gets lost in the ether. And school shootings are still on peoples' minds, given how recent Sandy Hook was. People tend to care less about bath salt addicts going crazy and care more about students being shot.
