So, RickyDicky is lambasted for being a "rep whiner", yet the whole drama over the pip reset has shown up the "rep warriors" as rep whiners themselves.

What is it about rep that makes some posters feel tough? Persons such as Sokar, Uncle Albert and so on spring to mind, they seem to do it as if it's a sign of machismo. Yet this is the internet and rep has what effect? No effect whatsoever. So what's the deal? You don't see the more loathed posters on here being "rep warriors", when you'd think they'd be the most likely candidates.

Should maybe the whole thing be scrapped and we just go back to having discussions?

In fairness to UA, he usually uses the feature to actually express agreement or disagreement in the course of a discussion. He doesn't dig up old posts and negrep 50 of them at a time, so it's hardly fair to lump him in with the retards who do.
