Honest question, why are you so angry about him given his crime is very small compared to killing, rape, armed robbery, and lots of other things that go on in Chicago every day? Not to mention filing false crime reports are quite common in divorces and domestic disputes. 2. How about those victims of crimes that weren't investigated because Chicago PD had resources applied to this case?
3. How about Trump/MAGA supporters elsewhere who may have been victimized by reprisals for this crime?
4. How about the people who supported Smollett who later saw the evidence against him?
5. How about the Chicago PD, who have been wrongly accused of racist or other misbehavior in this case?
6. How about future hate crimes victims, who may be viewed much more skeptically?
