Let's pretend we all heard a similar story (attacked but no actual proof days after the attack) but without the race or sexual orientation of the victim (or persons of interest) revealed. Any bets nearly everyone would be skeptical? I would take that bet.

My point is nobody is obligated to believe you just because you happen to be black, white, gay, straight, etc. And I'll be damned if I'll be shamed into altering my thought process because of somebody's race. 2 + 2 = 4 every fucking time. 2 + 2 = 5 if 5 is black? Sorry, that shit doesn't fly.

Let's put it this way: if my own son at age 28 (his current age) were attacked and
1) waited 40 minutes to call the cops, passed security right after the attack but didn't yell "holy fuck dude! I've just been attacked!"
2) didn't get others (more witnesses the better) to smell his clothes or put his clothes in a bag to seal up the smell
3) didn't immediately give his phone to the cops before he (my son) had a chance to hide or alter anything on the phone
4) was out by himself for any reason other than mission-essential activities AFTER likely being targeted days only days before

I WOULD CALL BULLSHIT! Do you have kids? Would you believe a story after considering my four points? Would you shift into dumping all reasoning ability because your kid apparently dumped all reasoning ability and/or is making shit up for whatever reason?

Why wouldn't I? It was a good show. I like to watch it because I knew a bunch of my black students (especially the girls) enjoyed it and I wanted some modern cultural stuff in common. They were impressed when I accurately predicted that Lucius would turn out to not actually be dying.

At any rate, the disdain Lucius, the music mogul had for his talented son because of his homosexuality was one of the major points of conflict early in the show. Especially as that son was the favorite of his mother.

I just never would have pegged you as someone who would enjoy, or even heard of, that show. No offense intended.

I've been partial to Terrence Howard (Lucius) for some time. Going back to the Law & Order franchise and of course Ironman.

And I almost forgot, Mr. Holland's Opus, which is kind of a touchstone movie for those in the education field.
