It's a problem that has existed well before the current cabal set foot and has gotten more prominent as there are fewer posters to balance it out with. You have 13 subforums, try to get it down to six. Make them all generalist forums covering a broad range of topics.

Frankly the board doesn't need any more than the Red, Green, Blue Rooms and Media Central.
Camp WF, Techforge and so on can go in the Green Room. Starscape can become a sub forum of the Green Room. Press Start should go in Media Central. We don't need a TK Sanctuary any more. If it must be there make it a sub forum of the Red Room. The introduce yourself forum can be turned into a pinned thread in the Help Desk (which could be renamed New Members/ Questions). So, aside from the main rooms all you'd otherwise have would be the Help Desk and Workshop.

I'm fine with merging /purging the New Poster forum, and I've advocated merging Starscape with the Green Room for years.

TK can fold into RR.

Consolidating forums is a good idea, IMO.

Not a huge fan of the violet room idea, but it also doesn't fill me with rage. Though I never actually go into the threads, some of baba's titles give me a chuckle.

A few threads were made in them but eventually they fell into disuse.

Now you have potential visitors seeing forums that have threads with last post dates of 2015 and that's an immediate turn off.

When the election bullshit dies down there will be another useless room (again).

@Teh Baba Returns is a master troll. Not only has a new forum been created for him, but half the board is in an uproar over the creation of a new forum. You'd think someone got banned or a forum got deleted.
