I have know idea who Melissa McBride is. BTW if there is only one doctor in the town, who stiched him up after going through the window? Is that why everyone puts up with Tim, because they need him so much?
Norman Reedus has said the finale will make us cry like babies. Killing Carol would do it for me. I just might quit the show if it's that.
Should start a finale dead pool. I hope I'm wrong but my gut really is saying Carol. Really, at this point I think everyone is expendable with the exception of... Rick, he is the audience POV character, I just don't see them killing him. Daryl, no matter what people say, I don't think the suits at AMC will allow him to be killed. EDIT: With Carol and Beth dead, that opens up that romance plot with Aaron and Eric.
Rosita - wait that wouldn't make anyone cry. She's scorching hot, but isn't a major player. Hard to say really.
Rick may officially be the leader, but Daryl is the main man. No doubt about it, had he not been with the group, they would all have been dead long ago. I never read it myself but was told they had planned to kill him a couple of seasons back but fans demanded he stay in??
Daryl doesn't exist in the comics, so I operate on the assumption of that his birth created the alternate timeline of the show, and IMNSHO, the show is better than the comics. Kill Daryl, you'll get the suck of the worst of the comics back. Nuh uh, he's AMC's lucky charm.
Or if they are intent on getting rid of him, don't kill him just send him to LA to tie in with the new series
What he probably means is that the two characters from Nicholas Sparks' "The Notebook" will be discovered to be walking around hand-in-hand as zombies.
I'm going to be really interested in seeing their explanation as to how the zombie apocalypse started. The whole premise of a zombie apocalypse is so un-fucking-believable to begin with, which is why most zombie stories (including the Romero films) only generally give hints as to how it happened. I think showing it in all its glory would quickly destroy any suspension of disbelief. Hell, two rednecks with some AR-15s and several thousand rounds could easily hold off an army of the undead. And that's assuming that the police, emergency personnel, national guard and the military even let it get to the point where there's an "army" of undead. (Nevermind the millions of wackaloon Americans with the arsenal of a small country stored in their garages.)
i think explaining a zombie apocalypse is a bad, bad idea. the development of the WD world, sure. but please no midichlorians (sp?)
George Romero's son is doing a "Night Of The Living Dead", prequel called "Origins", and Greg Nicotero is doing effects. That oughtta make ya happy.
As much as the hardcore fans hate them, the "zombies" in 28 Days Later and the Snyder remake of Dawn of the Dead make far more sense. The virus causes infection within seconds, and the zombies move fast. You can understand then, how it spreads so quickly. The zombies from the Romero films and The Walking Dead don't make as much sense. The virus causes infection within 12 to 24 hours and the zombies are slow and lumbering. I actually like all of the above-mentioned films, but one type of zombie makes more sense than the other when it comes to an apocalyptic scenario.
If Romero/Kirkman zombies had to start from scratch from biting they wouldn't make sense, but remember, in those 2 universes, anyone who dies for any reason comes back. If you start off with every fresh death at that particular moment, you've got instant epidemic.
Yes and no. Doesn't change the fact that it would still be quite easy to contain, especially at the initial stages. Only about 155,000 people die per day worldwide. Even if you assume it took a couple days for governments to get their shit together (and assume some of the infection spread due to biting) that's still a very manageable number. Advanced industrial nations could likely contain the spread within a few days, but shitholes like India would be big trouble.
Nothing I saw tonight made me consider tears - but it did make an impression on me. I demand someone make a gif with Morgan in action and at the end a caption which says "listen up you screwheads, this is my BROOMstick"
Uh oh...Morgan looks to be the new black man added to the group. Based on past history, that doesn't bode well for his survival.... Hopefully they at least off the slimy Pastor first!
Yeah, maybe I got it wrong, and it was an old article about the death of Beth bumped by my Facebook feed. Edit- or, maybe the Reg thing was more traumatic on set?
This was anticlimatic. More like a mid-season finale. But at least they didn't kill Glenn or Carol. Would have missed them.
