Sounds like they are trying to get more gun sales on the left. So what if donald trump refuses to stand down? Do we just let a person keep being president because he wants to? If that is the case then this country needs an emergency like this so they know to fix it. Nothing in american government gets fixed without an emergency. Even so, the people who are the potential problem with violent support of trump seem to not be the people in the establishment of military and government power. He can try to muck things up legally, but I think he will lose with the courts because they are not loyal to trump. They are loyal to established rule. They get their power from the written law and not the president. So I doubt the courts are going to fuck around too much. The authorities also take their lead from who is established as the winner of the election. I don't doubt there are some trump loyalists in places, but most of our government are career people. That means their positions come from the establishment of the government's power, and not Trump's power.

As manipulative as Trump is I do not see him having made in roads by creating generals and military people who will follow his orders. We are still relying on a military that is created for this country and not a man. So if Biden wins the election based on voting, whether it is big or small, the procedures will happen whether trump has a tantrum or not. Will Trump throw a tantrum? Of course. Will he try everything and anything to challenge a loss? Yes. Will some dipshits try to back him with violence? I would be surprised if they didn't. Will some of those people be a part of the police and federal authorities? I am pretty sure that will be the case. I do not know how far it will go, but we will have some traitors arrested.

The only thing I do not know is whether or not Biden will properly prosecute any people who do not follow america if they vote for him. I don't think there will be a dem challenge to authority if Trump wins so that point is moot. However, if Biden does win I do not trust him to prosecute the criminals who obstruct the transfer of power. That is a big problem in a system where not doing the legal transfer of power like it is supposed to go, should be criminal. These election shenanigans should not be overlooked if Biden gets into power, and I am not positive he will do anything. I hope I am wrong.

Being an Independent and being a Biden supporter aren't mutually exclusive. I'm registered as "Non-Affiliated" (what North Carolina calls Independent), and I plan on voting for Biden.
