Eagles are a common symbol for nations or powerful entities, and used in the insignia of the President of the United States. Red and gold is a common color scheme, and a likely one for someone who likes to write his name in gold.

If it's some crypto-fascist dog whistle, nobody is going to pick up on it. Do you think a Trump supporter in Iowa is going to look at this and go "Pickin' up where Il Duce left off! Cool!"?

No. That's not how it happens.

Someone who is clever and knows how to manipulate people, co-opted a symbol - thinking s/he's being clever, and makes a post on facebook or instagram or twitter or ... some other platform. And someone else sees it and runs with it. then it becomes viral. Then, some trump supporter in Iowa will look at it and say "isn't that clever" and may or may not have an understanding of the original person's intent, but still gullible enough to forward the clever meme he saw without any clue that they are passing on misinformation and propaganda.

That's how that happens. But, sure, for people like you, it's just trump derangement syndrome (trump supporters are deranged)
