Coming from you that is a compliment. Especially since you can't support your claim with any evidence and even a right wing news source says you are wrong.
http://bigstory.ap.org/article/8df9...issa-probe-fails-link-white-house-irs-scandal Speaking of right wing conspiracies which are nothing but lies... The right wing claim that the IRS "scandal" were, today, prove to be complete lies for the fourth time. Republicans have already declared they want a fifth special investigation.
After 500 years are they really "settlers"? Doesn't something like 15 generations of their families living in Ireland qualify them as being Irish?
The "right"? You mean the Bundy nutters that were at an Occupy rally before they went out to Nevada? Talk about "I stopped reading when ___" I know you're desperately looking for someone to say the police protests led to murder, but you're going to have to dig a little deeper. Shit, I'm posting things that say they aren't and you're like a moth to a flame. I do find it funny that you doubled down on the discredited "Loughner was a right wing lunatic" narrative though, thats gold.
Well, no, they're not still settlers. I was simplifying the root of the issue. They are however culturally different to some degree and have different political allegiances.
I remember that. MSNBC and the rest of the left wing nut brigade tried hanging Gifford's shooting on the tea party and Sara Palin within hours of it happening.
I just wanted the gist of it. I'm not going to commit to reading books about it - life is short and I'm old.
So all you have is some AM talk radio show which tries to claim they were left wing without any proof, huh? Where as numerous people who knew them and the official police investigation said they were radical right wing anti government extremists and white supremacists. http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/5473662 Gee, who should I trust? The real news agencies and the official police report or some unnamed source on some AM talk radio show? Decisions, decisions...
I admit this claim that they were some how associated with occupy is a new one to me so I would like to see any real evidence for it. ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN as well as the newspaper in Las Vegas all said that neighbors described them as right wing anti government nuts, who were complete gun nuts, and known for distributing white supremacist fliers. That doesn't sound left wing to me but it sure does sound right wing.
Because it doesn't fit the narrative. This isn't a liberal media thing, its more of a lazy media. Are there those in the media that want to paint them as model republicans? Hell yes. But to most of them the tea party angle is an easy, surface deep narrative. That these two sought solace with occupy simply doesn't compute, so they disregard it. Go back further to Illinois? Why? That they were so wacko anti government they wanted to join both? That just shorts them out. That added context confuses them. Remember the Aurora theater shooting? They had crucified a poor innocent tea party schlub before that guy had even gotten out of bed that morning. Lazy, surface deep reporting. That it fit a preconceived narrative was all the better.
Hmmm.........didn't get the results they wanted, so they need to do it again. Kind of like when a trial or grand jury investigation doesn't get the desired outcome. pot-kettle-black on this one.
WRT Aurora: I only saw one reporter from ABC suggest possible connections to the tea party and, if I recall, he was confused by youtube posts by someone else with the same name. The other outlets jumped on him to one up him.
They ran a google search on the name and went national with his Facebook page. If that's not lazy I don't know what is.
From the same National Review that I posted earlier, and Dinner spoke so highly of. Something for everyone. http://www.nationalreview.com/artic...shouldnt-collectivize-guilt-charles-c-w-cooke
BTW punditfact, a fact checking website , found that over half of all claims made on Fox are false with only 8% being true (the remainder fall into ca5agories like mostly false or partially true) MSNBC got 54% of statments are true and 10% being false where as CNN was 84% true. The media is lazy but one side really does do nothing but spew lies and propaganda.
This corolates perfectly with multiple previous studies which found Fox News viewers are less factually informed than people who watch no news at all. To compare every other news source made their viewers more factually informed with NPR/PBS viewers being the most factually informed.
If you believe that, you're a blithering idiot. Pundit fact is trying to fact check opinion. Fox News Pundit: "I think Obama is off the rails on this one." Punditfact: "False!" Fox News Pundit: "I don't see how this doesn't harm Hillary's chances in 2014." Punditfact: "False!" MSNBC Pundit: "Obama is the greatest leader in the history of mankind." Punditfact: "True!"
I saw those studies, and hilariously they had their facts wrong. They should Google, or use Wiki or something.
You should read the methodology so you don't look so stupid. They were judging factual data not opinion, my reality challenged friend. Also, it is run by the same people who do Politifact.

If that's true, they need to be terminated immediately. I have to trust, completely and totally, that the voice on the other end of the radio is doing everything they can to look out for me. That my safety is their number one priority at all times. If you can't trust them to do that, they have no business being in that position.
