14th Douchebag is quite simply a person with Daddy / authority figure issues, much the same as Uncle Albert back in the day. He just doesn't like police, their position of authority pushes his teen rebellion button. Suddenly he's back at home, telling his Dad to go to hell if Dad suggests he get a haircut and do his homework.

These high-profile cases of alleged police malfeasance over the past couple of years have simply given him a convenient excuse to nurse his grudge against Daddy. But instead of slamming his bedroom door and jacking the volume of his stereo up, he now directs that adolescent butthurt toward the cops.

Your Daddy told us. Now go call him and tell him again how he ruined your life by making you get a job and pay for your own gasoline.

Isn't this the same excuse you pull out every time the cops use excessive force against a black person? :chris:

If the same shit happened to a white kid I would still say the same thing. Except the media won't cover that, so you'll never hear about it. We can't play the race card, or have someone play it for us to benefit their own agenda.

Out of curiosity, who is the black man in the video witnessing the whole thing happening? Is he the teacher who felt the girl's behavior was disruptive enough that administration had to be called to the classroom? Is he the administrator who came to the class and tried to get the girl to comply?

Just pointing out to 14th Douche who wants to pass himself off as Rev. Al in this thread that a black man was standing two feet away from the whole thing and made no effort to intervene in this supposed "assault" of the innocent little cunt.

That is not the case at all. It used to be that even the dull kids in class got by and learned some things. However, their parents had to get involved and help them out, or at least side with the teachers on classroom discip0line. That means you do not send your kid to school with a cell phone, video game system, or any other electronics they will be using during school hours. If they do smuggle a device they do not get it back, and you do not get the teacher admonished for taking it. If you see another parent doing such things you confront them as a group and demand their kid get placed in some remedial class so your kids can learn. You do not call trouble kids special, you call them fucking losers.

Even the kids without their shit together will mostly get it together and get by. Then you have the rest of them who will go to boces where they belong. I do not know what they call it in other states, but Boces was the place they sent you in NY when you fought a lot, or were sent to the principals office for disruption. It was where you went if they caufht you with knives or matches. It was basically the "tech" school where you were heading towards mechanic or fry flipper, and you were on track for a GED because of discipline problems. For most kids you were called into the guidance counselor's office and Boces was mentioned and you were either eager to get on with your job, or you decided to make more effort in school. Today you have to call Boces super happy fun time education, and you cannot say they were generally not going anywhere in life because then they might feel sad. Parents do not want to tell their special little turds that they are losers anymore.

Yeah..... Don't know what the hell I was thinking.

It must have been because Oregon was on my mind after watching this:

It's about salvaging. Well worth the watch and the other videos as well.

Nope. Cafeteria fight was in Miami. I'm not even close to Oregon. Just had it on my mind.

There's been a lot of good points brought up about teachers being screwed as far as punishments go. In all honesty, for this instance, I'm willing to concede the possibility that this is less about ten student being black and more about some bullshit techicality/avoiding legal repercussions that made using the on-campus officer necessary, because this is very much a thing in America.

It's ridiculous, but that's what we as a society deserve when we let the school system do our jobs for us. :brood:

It's too late. You'll never see them banned.

As for everything else.... pretty much agree with it all. The officer may not have realized it at the time but he walked into a minefield with no escape for him.

Teachers can't do anything. Administrators can't do anything. And now no cop in their right mind who works in a school will do anything without dragging his supervisor into it.

Society has really set things up in classrooms to give the kids all the power. And the kids know it.

The rights of minors have always been severely limited.

I'm not sure why this is a hard concept for you other then you're being a obstinate prick about it.

Schools don't let kids leave when they feel like it. Are the schools also violating a child's right to freedom of movement by demanding they stay in school during school hours?

Completely disagree here. On the face it your idea sounds solid but it has a major flaw. By moving the class and the teacher into a new location you have just told that girl and every student in that class that they have the power to force teachers out of their own classrooms. Once word of that gets around the school and it will you will see copycats.

Moving the teacher out of the room after the student has been repeatedly told to leave the room would be a major victory for the girl who obviously doesn't care about what punishments follow her adventure.

You can not look at that video and see how? The teacher had to stop the class. Then the administrator had to step in. Then they called the cop in to deal with it.

All because the girl would not follow the initial order from the teacher.

    That's how....

Yep! Parents want the schools to their their jobs, and schools want the cops to do their jobs. It all starts with family . And no, I don't mean necessarily a nuclear family. But whoever raises the kids and sends them to school plays a HUGE factor in most cases.

And this is proof postivie you're a blistering idiot.

I could almost buy the cop being fired.

But the teacher? For what? Trying to enforce order in his classroom?

The teacher didn't have to do shit. The teacher had the option of ignoring her and continuing to teach the rest of the class. But no, having his authority respected by one teenage girl was more important than teaching everyone else in the room.
The administrator didn't have to do shit. The administrator had the option of telling the teacher to calm the fuck down and continue teaching the rest of the class.
Which was fucking ridiculous. Cops weren't assigned to schools after Columbine to make sure no one used their phone in class.

School systems make decisions and policies based on one thing and one thing only - risk of liability. If they think they could get sued for it, they're going to outlaw it.

Therefore, teachers can take no action whatsoever towards students. Teachers are the most vulnerable and the most expendable. A teacher who becomes involved in an altercation with a student will be fired. Period. School systems don't even bother with an investigation, or if there is one it's a sham process. Firing the teacher is the first line of defense against lawsuits.

Calling the cops is the only option for dealing with disruptive students. But now, there will be a reluctance for the cops to agree to intervene.

Any cop with half a brain will ask what ethnicity he/she will be dealing with. If you're a while cop and you're being called to deal with a disruptive negro, you'd be a fool to show up without having your union rep and your chief accompanying you into the school. Believe me, if the chief has to get off his fat ass a few times and drive to some schools to supervise an officer's interactions with minority students, he won't be so quick to pander to SJW assholes and make epically retarded statements like "watching this video made me want to throw up." :dayton:

So that's how teachers "command respect" in a classroom? By ignoring people breaking class rules?

I got a bit of reality for you.....

When you let people you're charged with supervising, be it students or employees or even inmates, do what they want when they want you're not commanding respect. You are however commanding buckets full of disrespect and you will get it constantly in the big five gallon buckets once it becomes known that you're a walking vagina.

You don't have to be a dictatorial asshole but you are the supervisor and you set the tone for your group.

    Yeah sure.......

It's a good thing you're a useless part to society. Hate to think people would actually listen to your ideas on how to command respect.

Sonny-boy here just can't help but express his disdain for Daddy and Daddy's authority.

So you let the girl get away with ignoring the class and ignoring reasonable requests to hand over her phone and/or report to the office. What happens the next day when a couple of other kids in the class decide they'd rather play fruit ninja on their phones rather than do the classroom activity?

I guess teacher's shit out of luck. He just needs to go "calm the fuck down" and get over himself.

Except when most of the class flunks the tests because they aren't paying attention in class & completing assignments, teacher gets hauled in and raked over the coals because his students are underperforming and that will negatively impact the school's statistics that have to get reported to the State and Feds. Because the only thing that matters in today's education system is test scores.

If it had been a male student watching pr0n on his phone during class, I wonder if 14th Douche would have his panties in such a twist right now?

For letting a minor infraction of the rules get to the point that a cop has to be brought in to assault one of his his students. Especially when it turns out that the student in question lost both her mother and grandmother earlier this year.

By the way, in this state, a teacher that ignores cell phone use in class can (and are) cited for disciplinary action.

According to things I've read, it takes about 3 years to get over the loss of a loved one.

How long would you give this student a pass on obedience to classroom rules?

Also I doubt that the student was using her phone to talk to a counselor about her loss.

    SO FUCKING WHAT?

People die all the time. Since when is that an excuse to be a bitch?

Tell us guru...... how long is the hall pass on being an asshole after your close family members die?

I lost two people in 9 weeks. I'd like it if the hall pass was at least a year so I could fuck around at work and not get in trouble.

The student was supposed to be doing her work on her computer like the other students. Not be on her phone. The teacher has the right to call her on her behavior and when she refuses to cooperate the teacher has the right to escalate to his supervisor which is what he did.

In my completely non-professional, layman's opinion, it was too much force. She was being disruptive, and she was disobeying her teacher, and then the officer. That is more than enough to bring discipline. What this officer did, however, wasn't discipline, and it wasn't bringing the situation under control, he was being a bull in a china shop while trying to swat a fly. What disturbs me more than anything, though, is the undercurrent that she deserved it. She had a fucking phone, folks, not a pipe bomb. Take her phone, handcuff her ass if she gets belligerent and tries to hit someone, but knocking her back and flinging her halfway across the room is not fucking acceptable. I watched the video a dozen times, and you can see where he grabs her around the neck, grabs the desk, flips her backward, and flings her across the room. That kind of violence towards a child should never be okay, but there are people saying she deserved it, as if they have to have that authority boner stroked hard.

Goddamn, "respect my authoritah" indeed. So many people in the news media saying that the teacher had to command respect. Well fuck your respect if you have to beat the shit out of someone to get it. I'm glad he was fired. She wasn't in the right either, but he was the LEO, and if his immediate response to student misbehavior is to go fucking ape man, then he needed to lose his job.

Don't you get it? This is the War on Terror School! Anyone who questions anything the LEO did is a subversive, and an agitator. They need to be intimidated advised that not bootlicking respecting the police officer lets the terrorists school children win! We have to beat these children so we can protect these children!

For what its worth one of the reasons that cell phones got banned from schools in my state was students calling in bomb threats. It happened the first semester I was teaching. We had to have a bomb squad flown down from Little Rock.

How crazy was it? The superintendent was so freaked out that he put ME in charge.

That said, it looked to me that the officer was in a hurry. I get the real sense and I can almost hear the words being said that the principal told him "This has gone on long enough. Just get her out of here. Now"

Did 14th Douche even listen to the pussy police chief's press conference? The cop was fired because he didn't use the proper "pain compliance" techniques, which include utilizing "pressure points" to cause extreme pain.

So really, this whole thing is just classic libtard knee-jerk bedwetting. The video of the little bitch getting dragged out of the deck (necessary because she wouldn't comply with repeated requests to stand up) looks worse than it really was, and got 14th Douche's juices flowing.

But if the cop had used proper "pain compliance" techniques, it would have all been cool? What, are all the kids issued agonizers on day 1?
