From what I understand of storm from the rantings around here @Paladin is different in that I do not think he is an active recruiter for the cause. He is generally harmless. What rightly put Paladin in the crosshairs was a silly statement about linking "race" and biology. It was rather ill-considered, even though he certainly didn't "mean it" that way and his statement was quite twisted and cannibalised. But it was borderline. A bit daft. Worse than dumb.

In the context of several of other positions taken by Paladin over the years, it fits the mold of a racist. He was very much in favor of separating immigrant children from their parents (one of the categories of genocide under international law) and keeping them in cages, and he has routinely sided against black victims of police killings.

Some people just feel a need to lash out. Anyone who feels the constant need to lash out, whether on the internet or in real life, I just ignore anyway. I have, on occasion, attempted to connect with such people (Tererun included) in the past and understand and help work through their issues. But, those days are over.
