Wordforge Is Slow Again

Is anything being messed with behind the curtain?

I am getting random slow load times. This can happen when opening a thread, starting a thread, or just reading a thread. It also happens when giving rep. Sometimes it's blazing fast, and other times it takes about 10 seconds to load the page. It seems completely random too.

I know others have also experienced this, but it's the first time it has happened with me.

Confirmed. Been noticing it since this morning.

Haven't seen a slow response in some time. Wonder if Kyle or O2C are fiddling with stuff?

Ever since I got all the bullshit issues no one has fixed, I've been getting lightning-fast connection. Fancy that.

Soo... can we do this so folks can SHARE load times? So we know it's not in their heads? for justice?

No extra hoop-jumping is needed for me to know it's not my fucking imagination.

Yeah the board is slow again and it's not on my end.
Ran speedtest and pingtest and everything was fine.

I am quite surprised that Darkening is not slow. He's all the way in the UK, and the servers are in the US, if I'm not mistaken.

Works fine for me.

Pinged a server in New York had a ping of 109ms, no packet loss.
Other US based servers snap up in less then a second, just WF that is running like crap.



Saying that, it's started to run again at a normal speed in the last 20mins.

Slow again. This time, during most of the morning.

I think it is time we placed the blame for this, and the TKO problems, solely on the shoulders of Lanzman and his cronies.

I just hit a hell of a slowdown not ten minutes ago. Clearly, something is up. Will check everything when I get home.

I liken Wordforge to a public outhouse. When someone else is using it, you cannot use it at the same time. Hence, the slowdown.

There are only so many stalls, so we must take turns!

It's running better now, but it's been running like shit all morning.

Even I'm getting these slow downs, right now and last night.

I usually never see the slow downs everyone else complains about.

I've had it take over a minute to load a page 4 times now today.

I demand you guys fix this!

I rotated the logs which are about all that change except for the usual database growth when we're not touching anything. Maybe the server needs a reboot - it's been almost 2 months without one.

I suggest Kung-Fu.

It's slower than Christmas tonight. My last couple of posts have taken a couple of minutes each to load.

Yeah, I'm seeing some serious slow downs. Rep boxes are taking about 30 seconds each.
Pages are taking anywhere from 15 seconds to 3 minutes each.

My own site and TBBS loads up in a split second every time.

So is posting. It took the above post forever to load. This one will probably take forever too.

Slow for me, too.

At first (a couple of days ago) it was just on the computers at work. It seemed to work fine at home.

Last night, though, I started to notice slowdowns there, too.


I don't know about everybody else, but the slow load times are very random with me. Sometimes the board acts just fine, while other times it can take several minutes for a page to load.
