Continuing to make the claim that there is a problem that nobody sees, continuing to state that a solution is required, is all a pretty good indication that you want to do something that doesn't need to happen.

The membership will start offering suggestions when a problem actually comes along. Oh wait, yes, that's what happened. The problem was splitting and boxing threads that were heading in directions deemed undesirable. The membership responded with the suggestion: don't fucking do that in the Red Room.

We aren't saying that because we want a different response to such threads. We are saying it because we want no response to such threads.

As Elwood said, this isn't the first time the signal to noise ratio got out of hand. The only difference was that back then people didn't shit themselves at change. One time Starguard was banned (I don't want to ban anyone), another time ignore was implimented, another time The Arena was created. In their own way and for their own situation each were successful, but times change, dynamics change, new problems arise and new solutions are needed.

Just b/c we recognize a problem doesn't mean we have to act in a way that fundamentally changes the Red Room.
