By scantily clad I assume you mean "I could see her face!" European Januaries can be pretty cold.

It was December 31st, at night, in northern Europe so I doubt many of women were scantily clad. The rape gangs attacked them anyway.

This is why I won't flat out forbid my kids from watching most of TV. I'll discuss a show with them, explain why I personally don't care for it, then assume my kids have enough sense to decipher reality versus fantasy. Meanwhile, it has now emerged that similar sex attacks have occurred in Austria, but police held the information back 'to protect the privacy of victims'.

News of the incidents in Austria, which has featured the arrests of migrants from Afghanistan and Syria, was revealed after women and girls came forward to complain to local media.

The spokesperson said the reported attacks included a 22-year-old woman who had complained about a sex assault and theft against persons unknown after she was attacked by a group of around 8 to 10 men who surrounded her and then groped her.

She said the suspects were 'foreign-looking men' but refused to give more detail, saying that the investigations were continuing.

Another New Year attack concerned a 17-year-old girl who was shot at by a 23-year-old Syrian using a battery of fireworks, and after he was arrested it was alleged that he had also assaulted a 20-year-old German woman shortly before.

Except you are falling for the same trap that caught Dinner. By all means we should go after rape and assault perps, and we should make every effort to teach people about safety, social, and legal norms. What we must not do, is say that because some people are bad, all who resemble them are also bad. Not all men are rapists, not all Arabs are rapists, etc. When somebody refuses to make such arguments, they are not engaging in any of the behavior you've described. We are simply asking for accuracy and adherence to the notion that nobody is guilty for the sins of his brother.
