TMZ video of Joaquin Joker on a subway. To all those "it's not the final look!", people, yes, it is. Get used to it. http://www.tmz.com/videos/0_4qcdt0k4/
I almost think that the simplistic make-up means a Joker who is truly, nightmarishly, bat-shit insane.
Well, he definitely looks like the Joker. I wasn't wild about the initial makeup test shot, but seeing him in action makes me more optimistic. Guess they're not going with the facial scars bit.
If this is as weird and dark and indie as I think it can be, this could be DC's "Logan". This movie has shot up to my most anticipated on the DC slate.
And, the Birds of Prey are cast! Jurnee Smollett-Bell will play Black Canary, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead will play Huntress. https://www.cbr.com/birds-prey-movie-black-canary-huntress/
Rosie Perez is Renee Montoya in "Birds Of Prey". https://www.cbr.com/rosie-perez-birds-of-prey-renee-montoya/
Yeah, that main protagonist is so fucking cool, you can tell because he is dumb and disaffected. I already want to see him drowned after half the trailer.
It looks an improvement on Man of Suite, Suicide Shit, Batfleck v Supermope and Justice Farce. And, Fishman is the kid of Jango Fett and Nicole Kidman?
The rooftop chase sequence! Wow! Black Manta looks...pretty awesome. Nicole Kidman ...and she's kicking ass! Orange and green costume! Looks like fun! 'Course, I felt like someone did a copy-and-paste on The Fifth Element screenplay when they activated the doo-dad with a drop of sweat.
Mera, Aquaman's (eventual) wife. And Mera was introduced in 1963, while Scarlet Witch did not appear until much, much later: 1964. So, technically, Scarlet Witch is the knock-off.
More Joker pics. One I picked out below, way more at this link. http://www.justjared.com/photo-gallery/4160602/joaquin-phoenix-joker-subway-full-makeup-08/
Meh, the big reveal there was that the boss/mastermind was part of the crew all along. Plus only the movie audience got to see it, and they were already in on the gag. Try it on a crowd of panic-stricken civilians and you'll blow their minds, trust me.
Weirdly, I've never thought of Joker as a clown (though he is the Clown Prince of Crime) so it seems wrong somehow for his makeup/look to go full clown. And yet...I'm kinda digging it.
