First finished model of the year! 1/6 scale (12'' tall) Josey Wales. Used my own Colts as reference to correct some flaws on the kit's guns. I'm still not so hot on faces, but the rest was fun.
Oh well, game didn’t go our way but at least we looked fucking fabulous for it. Besides, we’ve got a super young D that took half a season to gel and will be better next season. A couple tweaks to offense and we are contenders for a couple years.
I fear my neighborhood will soon end up like Forbin's. New homes are sprouting up like mushrooms after a rain! The deer are running out of room/food and will have no choice but to get closer & closer to the houses to survive. They are constantly getting killed by vehicles too.
That cat is looking like you damn well better have a good excuse as to why it's food bowl is empty! BTW that looks a lot like one of our cats - same breed & color.
An interesting little comparison. The old picture is the rural road that became NJ Route 208, very near where I grew up in Franklin Lakes, taken maybe in the 1950s. The second pic is the same location last Thursday evening at 5:30PM. I know, I know - move!
After I made the photo and edited it, I emailed it to the station so they could use it during the weathercast that night if they wanted. The station also tweeted it. Behind the assignment desk at the office, there's a group of big HD monitors that show all sorts of stuff from network feeds, competing stations, and one of them is set to cycle through all the tweets generated by the station and the staff. I thought the photo looked pretty good on my phone and on my laptop, but today when I saw it cycle through on that 50" HD monitor I said out loud, "Shit! That looks pretty fucking amazing! "
My World Famous beanless chili. made every year on Halloween and at least one other time. There's eight pounds of meat in there. Suck it, vegans!
