Or the rest of the season will be bringing Abomination back into the fold and investigating the fight club, whereas the legal stuff will be a minor factor. I'd prefer Ally McBeal, but sure seems an odd way to go about it. They definitely didn't need to have the Abomination/Wong fight be now, it could have easily been a year ago following the timeline of the release of the respective shows.
No I’m not trolling , it’s true, any criticism of a female protagonist is met with people screaming you hate women. It happens every single time.
No, it only happens to you. and do you know why? because you appear to hate women. You don't criticize movies in which the writers to the same for / to men. In fact, you don't criticize the writers at all. you criticize the actresses. As if they alone wrote, directed, and acted in the movie. If you criticize the actress, then you should be criticizing her ability to act according to the dialog. If it's a sad scene and she's smiling, she's a bad actress. If the script says "say this sadly, but smile while you say it", then she is a good actress. Your problem is that you don't know why you are criticizing a movie.
All of this is false. All you’re doing is repeating the same talking points from the same FemaNazis on the internet that call all men women haters because they dare to criticize female protagonists. How do I know you’re full of shit? JJ Abrams, Alex Kurtzman, Rian Johnson, Brendan Braga and Rick Berman are all writers and they’re all men. Deborah Chow and Bryce Dallas Howard do excellent jobs with Star Wars, I loved the Obiwan series. That was some great story telling. Florence Pugh was awesome in Hawkeye. So was Hailee Steinfield. I don’t blame the actors one bit. Daisy Ridley is a fine actress, she was just given horrible material to work with. What amazes me is that 9 times out of 10 you jump on my ass for saying pretty much the same things UA says and you defend him endlessly for. I can’t be the only person who sees this.
There's going to be a Wonder Man show, and Ben Kingsley will be back as Trevor in it. https://www.darkhorizons.com/kingsley-returns-for-marvels-wonder-man/
Well, I guess, if you’re not going to take my statement at face value, just something to be defensive about, then nothing I can say will change your mind. You’re a misogynist and I do not defend UA when he says stuff that sounds misogynist. I do question him and he explains. Doesn’t get defensive and accuse me of … whatever it is you’re accusing me. But, you continue to believe yourself a victim. And you always will be.
You made a claim that I don’t criticize male writers, I pointed out the male writers that I have criticized in the past. Your claim is false. Everything else is just name calling.
Fuck, you’re dense. I didn’t criticize you for not criticizing male writers. I criticized you because rather than criticizing the writers (male or female) you criticize the actress - as if she alone came up with the story, the script, the money to produce the movie, the the money to pay the cast and crew.
Not every time. There have been plenty of times when people have criticized female protagonists from Wonder Woman to Wanda to She-Hulk to Burnham without being accused of being misogynistic. Of course it probably helped that those doing the criticism weren't using terms like "feminazis"or parroting people who did.
that, and maybe talk to a real, live girl once in a while... why are we engaging the opining of incels, again?
yet you've shit yourself over every single one of these and their female protagonists... this is mostly true. You and UA are cut from similar cloth.
No, they're not. You just choose to read things into UA's posts that aren't there. What FF posts is vastly different from what UA posts. FF posts are about the collective complying to right wing ideology UA posts are about individuals not complying to either ideology
So are we giving up on the notion that any criticism of a female protagonist being met with people screaming you hate women happening every single time, or are we giving up on the notion that "lefties get a pass for some reason"? Because both simply can't be true at the same time. (As it turns out, neither is. If a lefty used the tone or language to trash women that some on the right do, I'm pretty sure they'd get taken to task for it.)
I’ve had no issues with Wanda or Claire from Outlander, Black Widow, Kate Bishop, Wonder Woman, Harley, the Stark sisters, Piper from Orange is the New Black, Eve from Killing Eve, Cara Dune, Asoka, Leah, etc. and that’s just the recent ones that don’t even count the ones from the 80s and 90s.
errm, no... FF posts are about complying to right wing ideology UA's are about not co-operating with anything left of that ideology. either way, they complain against the same things "If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.".
So it is Ally McBeal with superfights. Unfortunately, the way they 'fixed' their crappy writing was with more crappy writing. Turns out Wong is an idiot, unlike his portrayal in any other of his appearances. And they did introduce the Wrecking Crew, but they too are jokes. Granted, they were never A listers, but they have a long history in the comics and had several important moments. I like good action shows with heart and comedy. Wandavision, Moon Knight, and Hawkeye really did that well. Ms Marvel was pretty good at it too. Marvel's recent comedies are clearly written for children, unlike their successes in so many of the previous films.
That cute little slogan is not an invitation for you to claim a monopoly over the definition of "injustice," sweetheart.
That’s the biggest load of shit I’ve ever seen. “Because you didn’t complain about X that means you are complicit in Y.”
