It's called "not being bloodthirsty." 79 or 80 points will have to do. I'm sure you'll be able to endure the pain.
23-13 Final. I can live with that, but this team is so, so very young. Unless they start to shape up quickly, this season is going to be ugly.
Kudos to Cal for getting revenge on Tennessee. If only Michigan had the balls to go play App. State in Boone next year!
You know the saddest thing about this whole fiasco? Boone Co. is dry. This tear is for all my brothers who had to drive an hour to pick up the massive ammounts of booze such a game called for.
Well, SC laid the smackdown on Idaho as expected, but it wasn't the total blowout people were expecting. Good on the Vandals for coming to play and giving it their all. SC, while fairly solid, had better amp it up quite a bit for Nebraska.
It looks like Texas had a fantastic start against Ark State. And don't worry about Nebraska, these aren't the Huskers of old. Oklahoma State destroyed them last year, though they could've beat Auburn last year if not for Callahan's incompetence.
Everything is right in football land, Vandy got it's cupcake win over Richmond. Michigan lost. Auburn won. Tennessee lost. I am happy. Carry on.
Here's the video of the Appalachian State fans carrying the goal post to the Chancellor's house and him giving his speech. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26WNUJ4-fCI&mode=related&search=
Not much going on among the Top 25 this week. The big match up is Texas vs TCU. After last week's poor performance at Ark St, Texas should definately be concerned with what may actually for once be an underrated TCU. I think Texas wins by less than 7.
21-10 OU at half, because OU lost focus after they figured out they were a vastly superior team than Miami. You give any team about 20 chances from your 2 yard line and eventually they're going to punch it in just by the law of averages. Nebraska is demonstrating why they're overrated at #16 vs. Wake Forest. West Virginia is demonstrating why they're overrated at #3 vs. Marshall.
Florida Atlantic baby! He's probably sippin his whiskey in Stillwater, watchin the Canes as we speak.
LOL, earlier in the broadcast the announcers were talking about Miami's first-year coach, and how he's tried to bring back discipline and honor to the team. One of his top rules? No guns.
