Batman standalone confirmed. http://www.comicbookresources.com/a...nounces-batman-solo-film-starring-ben-affleck
Yep. I have high hopes for this Batman film. Affleck was good in BVS and he can direct and act. Plus this version of Batman seems to be the one you don't want to really meet in a dark alley. I hope they have a good story for the movie.
Yeah, I never thought I'd see Doomsday in live action. It would be nice to see it play out the way it did in the comics with the Funereal for a Friend and the whole JLA attending, but still, this was a good fight.
The redhead, or the one that looks like a riot officer? The redhead is Lois. The riot officer is....I dunno.
I'm not seeing it. I just see Lois with dramatic shadows around her eyes. The one grabbing Supes's legs, right?
No, the one at Superman's left arm. Edit: oops, I magnified it and it looks less like Carrie Kelly than I thought. "Riot officer" looks like a better description. Never mind.
Episode? It was a whole-season arc! Davis Bloome, nice guy paramedic played by Sam Witwer... ...love interest of Chloe Sullivan (oh, yeah, that's going to end well)... ...the son of Zod and also... ...DOOMSDAY!
It was the 8th season finale. But the whole season was pretty much building up to it. Not bad for a TV show budget although in retrospect it looks kind of silly compared to the movie.
Hey, wait a minute, if Flash can run back in time, instead of warning Batman, why doesn't he just go back a little further, and tell Superman about Zod, and have him waiting for him with the phantom drive right when he crosses the moon, and prevent the whole mess? Then fire off e-mails to the individual members of the Justice League to assemble.
I think they are saving that for when the writers work their way in to an impossible dead end, then cue up the Flash reset button.
Ya know, it kinda says something about the mentality here when Snyder indroduces one of the key members of the JL and the very first thing out of his mouth amounts to "oh shit, I fucked up didn't I?"
Blu-ray art and info. http://www.comicbookresources.com/a...man-ultimate-edition-box-art-details-revealed
I'm guessing we'll more Lex? I'm fine with a longer version, I feel it needs it. CA: CW was just long enough, Batman V Superman wasn't. Is this the R rated version as well?
Yep. The linked site says you get the theater cut as well as the extended R cut, so no twiddling our thumbs for 6 months waiting to get double-dipped, it's all in there.
