Probably doesn't matter much for a show like this. Tom Welling isn't much of an actor and Smallville lasted ten years...
Don't tell me that he's going to start hallucinating about her, as well. Just watched the first season Xmas episode, and man, was the Microsoft Windows product placement annoying. And is it just me, or does Quentin Lance look like he's always drunk?
Quintin IS an alcoholic in recovery (and he'll take a long time to grow on you even a tiny bit - I still don't really like him) The thing with Ollie is, with his Dad dead (and with him feeling it's his own fault) he sort of idolizes his mom - and she is so not worthy.
Oh, and every time they say, "Deadshot killed his brother." I immediately respond with, "Dropped a piano on his head."
Diggle's brother was a Morris Marina? Loving the show so far this season, and really enjoyed what Barry as the Flash brought to the table, especially as regards Ollie's angsty-ness.
There may be an Atom spinoff, and....(Flash spoilers) http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/35366/cw-renews-eight-plans-atom-series-more
Scarecrow and Robin's father to be on Gotham. http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/35382/photo-robin-s-dad-in-fox-s-gotham http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/35402/scarecrow-set-for-gotham-in-february
Right now I'm a tad underwhelmed, but reserving judgement 'til see it on screen with it's attending spfx.
By next season both the Atom and Firestorm should viable along with some easy additions for CW to offer a Showcase inspired program, featuring characters that on their own might not warrant a series, but more exposure.
Teenage Dexter is the new apprentice-Trickster on Flash. http://www.superherohype.com/news/3...ce-the-flash-as-a-new-trailer-debuts#/slide/1
those in turn might serve as "auditions" for other DC characters that might not make a viable series option or to prevent "fatigue" Martian Manhunter? Dr Fate? Zantana? Shazam? One of the GL (Kyle might work with this version of Barry)? Same with certain villains.
Since I think we're getting the John Stewart GL in the movies, and we've seen Ferris Air referenced in both Arrow & The Flash, I'm OK with Hal being on TV. Budget constraints might keep them from some of the excesses of the Ryan Reynolds movie. But as far as my Showcase idea, I mean characters like The Atom (personal favorite of mine, but I don't see it going over big with the massess) or Firestorm, or the truly easy to sell, like, the pitch practically writes itself, Deadman (Quantum Leap without the time travel?), Walt Simonson's run on the Paul Kirk version of Manhunter or El Diablo (good shot at the hispanic audience). I'm seeing this as a DC version of what ABC/Marvel is doing with Agents of Shield/Agent Carter, except I'd perfer both shows to be of similar quality. Challengers of the Unknown, any one of the Blue Beetles, DC is littered with second stringers that could make for some great TV.
Really hoping to see Ted Grant suit up during Oliver's absence over the next 2-3 episodes, some Wildcat action would be cool. And on the Flash front, In one of the previews for upcoming Flash eps, Barry is talking to Cisco about updating the suit, with Tthe Atom only a phone call away (quite literally in the case of a land line), could we see the evolution of the ring-sut soon?
I noticed something today while re-watching an episode of The Flash. The Reverse Flash who killed Barry's mom didn't have the glowing red eyes seen on "The Man in the yellow suit" episode. Two Reverse Flashes already?
Damn is Gotham great now. Plot, most of the script, lots of the acting, gorgeous photography, keeps you guessing. That last one had me thrilled from start to finish.
Gonna have to check out Gotham. I heard Internet rumblings about Supergirl having an origin story different from ones we've seen so far, and that they're planning on her being 24 years old. No feminist I, but I think 24's getting a little long in the tooth to be called "girl."
Make sure you stick with it for a while; the first few are quite bad, but it's worth staying for what comes later. Or you could just jump on now.
depends on how long she's been active to start with, but I figure in terms of "code names" it's different than atthe office
I'm still open to the idea that Wells isn't the same one from Barry's childhood and he has appropriated the ability/costume somehow from some other. Te producers have stated Eddie's name is NOT a red herring so it's maybe not as simple as it seems
Packard is right, BTW, while Gotham has been uneven, this was definitely the most well crafted episode yet. And the actors seemed a lot more confident and smooth in their roles...whatever groove they found I hope the keep a solid grip on it.
He looks the part, but nothing else really matches as far as I know. Too bad, the actor is someone I'd love to see on a semi-regular basis. I've liked him since his stint on Supernatural. Wonderfully creepy actor.
Didn't Strange repeatedly use electroshocks to place opponents under mind control? I'm a bit rusty on the finer details of DC history, because Marvel has -- ah, I won't continue, as it could be considered trolling in a DC thread to say what Marvel has done to DC over the last decade or so.
