Really? The US-China relationship is not an equivalent to the US-Israeli one. Israel is just about the closest ally of the US, and Israeli expansionist policy is not some unfortunate side-issue in a trading relationship but an integral part of and reason for the relationship, one which the US has the power to alter at any time of its choosing.

Reports are coming out that as Israeli civilians hid in bunkers from the at least hundreds and possibly thousands of rockets launched indiscriminately at their homes, that Hamas terrorists then went into at least one shelter and massacred the civilians hiding there. Including children. Supposedly they filmed it and uploaded it to Twitter.

I won't go looking for that one, guess I'll wait to see if it's true. I have seen the one where they killed an Israeli woman, ripped her clothes off and are parading her around to the cheers of those Palestinians around them. And the one where they infiltrated a barracks and shot Israeli soldiers still sleeping. And another one were they are parading around an Israeli soldier.

Shits about to get real ugly, and of course the innocent people in Gaza are going to be involved.

For Israel? Brutal and disproportionate violence and destruction in the hopes of terrorizing Hamas and the Palestinians into no longer attacking Israelis. Which is terrible, but I honestly understand why they're doing it and I'm currently in no mood so say they don't have the right to do so.

For Hamas? Saudi Arabia and Iran have been moving closer to normalizing relations with Israel for a while, after the UAE did in 2020. I'm guessing Hamas realized that if the trend continues they'll eventually get thrown under the bus by all of their traditional allies and the international money would stop coming in, so they needed to do something huge to undermine it.

TLDR: It's a fundraising bloodbath.

This is what the innocent palestinians get for tolerating Hamas because they sometimes help them. Hamas wants a war, and this will force it despite any assistance they gave in medicine or food to the poor palestinians. OTOH Isreal has had a huge section of it's people supporting nentin warmonger yahoo in his quest to solidify his power through putting Isreal into a war. So this is a war, and both sides have pushed for it.

The US right wing had better take notes because this is what the fly over states and cities are going to look like if you keep tolerating right wing domestic terrorism and not putting the terrorists in jail and voting out people like Trump, MTG, Bobert, Desantis, and every other person calling for a religious bloody revolution. Eventually they will start blowing shit up to force the innocent into their war. This is what happens when you tolerate terrorism.
