She was just outshined by Bernie and Warren, but she was decent. Now she has four years of VP experience under her belt.

You have to look at how they are trying to stop her from being the candidate. If they thought she was a pushover they would let this happen.

You haven't been paying attention. The Republicans insisted Trump was a changed man after the shooting, and he was more or less behaving and staying on-message on social media until the news broke that Biden was leaving the race. Since then he's returned to his usual deranged self.

He's rattled. Very rattled.

I agree. This does a few things.

1. It excites the base.

2. It responds directly to the complaints about Joe both in age and policy. Kamala balanced the policy downfalls he had while also showing for four years she can moderate and be a part of decent discourse. There have been no complaints from the right against her.

3. She can now start heading strong into Trump's felonious behavior as a prosecutor, and she already is. That is going to excite the much larger part of the population who has been desiring to see him prosecuted. She brings in a future of go get him rather than the failed lackluster performance of Joe and Garland.

4. She can be seen as a new view on the middle east conflicts, and she does not have the baggage of Joe with Bibi. She can be seen as a person who is caring and fed up with people dying on both sides of the Gaza war. With her color, gender, and youth she will excite the Palestinian protestors Joe lost, and she is not so radical that she will force any Israel (spelled it right) supporters to Trumpland.

5. She was a black female attorney general for San Francisco california. On one hand that makes her familiar with criminals and how they need to be prosecuted, and on the other she is a woman of color who can show empathy to the struggle of the black community.

6. She has the endorsement of the present administration and is not a jump to a new administration. She can ride the success of the old administration, while appealing to the new progressive voters because she did not throw them under the bus to be with Joe. She has connections with the progressive caucus which will excite that base and bring them back into the fold. They were leaving because of Joe and this shows a surrender without going socialist.

7. This also shows that Obama was not some one off to satisfy the black community, and that hillary was not the only hope for a female president. This works directly into the fears of the Roe ruling being so awful. It also shows it isn't going to be a long time before the dems run another black person which seems to have been the idea that they took black people for granted by satisfying them with Obama and now they were just going to run old white guys for a while to get the racists back.

The more I think about Kamala the more I like what I see. She is not Bernie level awesome with her ideas, but she is good. She is on the good side of things, and not just better than Trump.

They want Biden back because they know they have the best chance with him. They don't have any strategy that works for influencing the matter which is why they are flailing and talking about taking things to SCOTUS to stop the other party from running who they chose. You know they have no idea and are running around in a panic when that is what they come up with.
