Squirrel Girl? Eh, but they're putting her into a show instead of a movie.

Tricky, all their greatest female superheroes are parts of teams, so you have to have the team origin before you can do spinoffs.
Not very many you can hit the ground running on a standalone with.

After the Fox deal clears, they desperately need to reboot Rogue out of Anna Paquin's body.

Oh, I dunno. I thought Paquin made a pretty good Rogue, actually. At least within the context of the X-Men movies, which took some rather severe liberties with all of the characters.

She's not BAD, she's just not the 90's comic Rogue.
The point of having a Rogue at all is to do the 90's Rogue all the fanboys fell in love with.

You've got car chases, laser fists, Carol punching a granny-Skrull, Carol going Super-Sayan.
What more do you need for a first teaser?

Carol fellating a donkey.
Carol ordering French fries.
Power Rangers.

It just seems underwhelming to me. Apparently I'm not the only one, a lot of people on YouTube thought the same thing. Compare it to say, Black Panther which had poppy music, kick ass action sequences and more than one location.

Trailers can be very deceptive. So far there hasn’t been a single MCU film I’ve disliked.

My opinion of IM3 and Thor: DW has even improved upon recently rewatching all the films.

I’m sure it will be a competent movie, maybe even fun to watch. Whether it will be a great movie like Infinity War or Winter Soldier is another question altogether.

Her origin story does seem pretty Green Lantern-ish.
